Stardew Valley – Trains 1.5

Trains in Stardew Valley 1.5 can be found on railroad tracks, located up north of the Mountain. An Earthquake will happen on the 3rd day of Summer, 1st year, clearing a rock blocking the way.

On random days, between 9am-6pm, a train can pass by. A notification will pop up once, saying:
“A train is passing through Stardew Valley”

The reason why the most of us are here are to know what items can be dropped during this mini-event. Here’s a list:

1. Leprechaun Shoes

The Leprechaun shoes are one of the items a train could drop. Hence the name, this footwear has a stat being:

+2 Defense

+1 Immunity

and its sell price is
150g

2. Stone

3. Coal

4. Iron Ore

5. Wood

6. Geodes

⚠️Reminder⚠️

1. While the player does not need to be present when the train passes by, the items dropped WILL DISAPPEAR overnight. It has to be collected at the same day.

2. A player standing in front of a moving train will, obviously, gets knocked back. If the player happens to be stuck, then the next time you wake up will be at your house, losing most of your money bc HARVEY IS GREEEEEEE-

Types of trains

There are various kinds of trains in Stardew Valley, but most do drop the same items. Common resources dropped by a train are wood, stone, and coal.

The most interesting one by far is the red-cargo train that passes by during winter. Here’s what it looks like:

This was pretty fun to make. I’ve been enjoying Stardew Valley so much recently, and in one of my playthrough happens to be about the trains passing by for the first time.
