This guide will show you how to change the fast-travel spawn-in location for camp. It’s simple, but not well-known by many players.
 

Step 1

While you are in build mode at camp, hover over your C.A.M.P. To pick up the device, press E.
 

 
(DON’T move your entire camp… You can simply pick up the C.A.M.P. You can also use the device by itself.  

 
 

 
 
 

Step 2

You can move it to another location in your camp and press E to put it down.
 

 
 

 
 

 
 

 
 
 

Step 3

Your camp’s fast travel spawn point has been moved.

How it works

So basically, whenever you pick up your C.A.M.P. You can move the device around your camp by moving the spawn-in points.
 

 
You can move it, fast travel, and test out where it’s spawning at. Eventually, you will find the perfect spot.
 

 
The ideal spawning point is usually a few feet away from your front door. (Like the screenshot in step 3.)
