That’ll be about how to be a good player.

Game Time (Crewmate)

  • Always stick with a confirmed Crewmate and back them up when the time arises.
  • Try to get everyone into a group of 2-4 and note who is with who. This way, it’s easy to tell who is the Impostor/s due to the maximum being 3.
  • Don’t be threatened by people looming around a corner. Be threatened by the way they act.
  • Look at the Task Bar, have keen sight, and check if people returning from tasks had actually contributed to the goal. If it’s too short, they might get suspicious of you.
  • If you are playing in voice chat, make sure you and others are muted.
  • Don’t check around places often.
  • Do your tasks. It’s vital to a Crewmate win.

Discussion Time (Crewmate)

  • Have an alibi that can be backed up by a Crewmate. If they don’t back you up, they’re most likely an Impostor.
  • Give solid evidence to back up your argument.

Things are more difficult if you’re in a voice chat.

  • Never laugh; it’s extremely suspicious and can result in a lost player.
  • Don’t shout; stay calm. It’s good to keep you cool. Impostors overreact to accusations.

Game Time (Impostor)

  • If you’re faking tasks, fake the long ones. They only contribute after you finish all 3 of them.
  • Don’t act too suspicious. Never loom around corners and try to check to a minimum.
  • Vents are either a blessing or a curse. Use them with caution.
  • Stick with your Impostor teammate.
  • Sabotage when you are going to be voted out. If you require one more kill to win, use crises to distract them. At least one Crewmate will get there.
  • Never use the same Crisis, differentiate and make them run around the map.
  • Locking doors is precious; use them wisely.

Discussion Time (Impostor)

  • Don’t be too quiet; people get suspicious of you.
  • Get your Impostor teammate to back you up.
  • Never fall for the “If it’s not someone, it’s someone else” tactic. It can seriously get you out of the game.
  • Follow along with information and back up votes.

Same with Crewmate, it’s much harder to give off an illusion.

  • Never overreact to accusations. Back up your claims with facts.
