Where Can You Find Helium-3 in Starfield?
One of the keys to success in this game is crafting. For this, you’ll need resources. And one of the most vital resources? Helium-3. Let’s see how you can find this resource.
So, you’ve heard about He-3, aka Helium-3. It’s scattered across many planets and moons in space. And are you getting your hands on it? It’s going to make your gaming time so much better.
To start, you need to spot the planets that have Helium-3. Dive into the worlds of Starfield and use the Starmap with the Resource view. This way, you can get an idea of what each planet offers. And if Helium-3 is there, you’re golden.
Known places with Helium-3? Look at Ananke in the Olympus System or maybe Curbeam and Kurtz in the Alpha Centauri System. There’s also Kreet Moon of Anselon close to Anselon in the Narion System, Mercury in the Sol System, and Tau Ceti I in the Tau Ceti System. But remember, there are so many other planets too. Find the best one for you and set up shop!
You’ve landed! Now, how to get the Helium-3? Two ways. First, you can try collecting from vents on the planet. But be careful – there’s a chance of Lung Damage. Think hard before taking the plunge.
The safer bet? Use an outpost to harvest Helium-3 from ground deposits. Spot the He-3 spot, set up an Outpost Beacon near it, and build a Helium-3 Extractor. For this, you’ll need 4 Nickel, 5 Aluminum, and 3 Copper. Power it on, and let it do its magic. Come back later, and you’ve got your Helium-3.
Swap your credits for Helium-3 at shops. The Jemison Mercantile at the New Atlantis spaceport is a good spot. Or check out Trade Authority spots. They might have some Helium-3 to spare.
Using Helium-3 in Starfield
What to do with your Helium-3?
Craft weapons or power up Fueled Generators at Outposts.
For weapon tweaks, you might need Helium-3 for things like the Laser Sight or Red Dot Sight.
And those Fueled Generators? They love Helium-3. Hook one to a Helium Extractor, and you’re set. It means you’ll have a base that’s running smoothly, making your space journey even better.
Armed with these tips and the power of Helium-3, you’re all set to shine in Starfield. Happy exploring!
