Walkthrough
NOTE! Do not try this dungeon unless you are at least 80 levels. Be sure to have synthesized a Super Ajan or a Platinum Ore/Barrier Rock tier weapons for every character as well as a wide variety of high rank defense accessories.
Thankfully, you can progress through the Barrier Diffusion relatively easily up until the Lakebed Temple. Just be sure to use the center door in room D, at the beginning section of Genbu Ravine.
As a warning, the enemy encounters will become more difficult once you reach Great Library Section (in Room H after the transitional Room G). I recommend leveling up to 85 before you try to fight too many enemies.
There is a single-use healing circle at the end, of room K. This is just before you get to the Lakebed Temple. Just walk around it when you don’t require it. Keep it in mind.
When you enter the Lakebed Temple section, room L, the path forward is blocked by green barriers, just as in the original Lakebed Temple.
Instead, start on the path on your right and make a loop around the back wall of the room. You will then reach the door for room M on your left.
Once in room M follow the maze to its end and step on first switch.
Continue to the beginning of room L. Now, take the path left, passing the barrier, and reach the door of room N on your right.
Once you reach room N, continue through the maze and press the second switch.
The barrier has disappeared in the room L. This allows you to enter the room O.
Room O has a simpler layout, even though it takes a little bit of spiraling. It’s just a breather before room P.
Room P, a screen loop maze, requires you to find the opposite side of your starting platform. This is a maze that’s impossible to navigate without a minimap. But, if loot isn’t your thing (or if the chests have been opened), you can follow this route to reach the end.
- From the entrance, head left and down the stairs.
- Head towards the underpass.
- You can ignore the underpasses by taking the path on your right.
- Underpasses are located on either side.
- Take the stairs to Room O.
Fun Fact! The two statues at its start are actually not in collision. You can use the shortcut to enter a different part of maze quickly, but the statues are not on the way out.
Room O contains only a single teleporter as well as two chests. Ignore any chests on the right, and take time to relax before using the Teleporter. You will party wipe if you don’t prepare for the encounters in the next room. You’ll need a mad dash to the end of this room, avoiding every obstacle. As soon as possible, you should step on the Teleporter to Room R, the purple Forest of Magic.
Once you have reached the end of the area, flip the switch in order to activate the shortcut teleporter.
Use the healing circle in the first room to prepare.
Loot
1 – Gold Mimic (!!!) A
Thunder Crystal – A
3 – Emerald B
4 – Fire Crystal – C
5 – Ring of Amaterasu
Accessory which increases LHT resist resistance by 88%
6 – Flower – C
7 – Diamonds – D
8 – Hiraishi – D
A set medium armor that gives you a huge Eva boost. Aya is the perfect choice if your armor isn’t very impressive.
9 – Mirror-Plated Bucklers (Left door).
A magic shield of exceptional quality with a high activation rate.
10 – Water Crystal – E (Right door)
11 – Oni Lord Club – F
The “axe’s” effect is decent.
12 – Gold Mimic (!!!) F
13 – Veteran Kunai – H
This knife is amazing. It has decent damage, an excellent Slayer effect, high chances of Severe Poison and an increased crit. This knife can do it all.
Earth Crystal – H
Emerald Staff – I
It is useful to increase Light damage but only for Byakuren/Satori. Reimu/Patchouli’s personal weapons are more effective.
16 – Black Diamond
Magic Dimension Robe, J
Massive MDef boost, and a massive MP increase. Satori will look good in this robe, but most of the other size S characters won’t benefit from such a big MP boost.
18 – Platinum Mimic(!?) K
19 – Rebirth Armor L
Large armor with Endure as an inherent effect. Consider it over other armors.
20 – Strike Eagle Spear – L
Spear has a PAtk of surprisingly high value for having 50% Double attack.
21 – Adamantite Shield
The highest PDef rating of any shield. This shield comes in handy if Alice is your tank and you’re fighting phys-focused opponents.
22 – Chaos Shield
A medium shield that is as good as large shields in terms of physicality and PDef.
23 – Platinum Mimic(!?) – O
24 – Relic of Gods
25 – Great Elemental Crystal – O
26 – Mythril Nugget – O
Antinomy Blade – P
A decent saber with a good boost to elemental resistance.
28 – Ring of Tsukuyomi
Accessory increases DRK resistant by 88%. Treasure Hunter is awarded if you’ve opened each chest (recipes chests do NOT count).
29 – Recipes
Chaos Blade armor, Caspar armor, Y Draig Goch armor, Incomparable armor, and God Idol tier.
The upgrade to the sword Hina drops as well as all the best armors. Though you can’t create any of the character armour until you complete the dungeon.
King Mimic (!?!?) Q
IGNORE THIS CHEST TILL YOU ACTIVATED OUR SHORTCUTTELEPORTER. It gets a guarantee of ambush. It also attacks four time per turn. Alice, run Poison Shield in formation and pray all four attacks will target her. Use your strongest attacks in the first turn to try and eliminate it. If you aren’t confident in the damage output of your attacks, use Sakuya Quick Time to buy a second turn.
