Basically one massive spreadsheet

Eagarlnia General Guide (WIP)

  • Currently a work in progress but decided to share anyway in the hopes that people can make use of the information I have now
  • Note that some human error is to be expected and patches may change core things like stats which I won’t update as frequently

Introduction

This is essentially a place where I link a spreadsheet containing data concerning heroes, items, and quests. Because there are as many heroes as there are pokemon, I figured that having a more wider view of the heroes will allow fellow players to optimize their gameplay or use heroes they never would have used.

Assume most of the data taken on heroes are done when they have no equipment and they are max level.

If you are new to spreadsheets, notice the tabs below. Also use filters if you can. If things are hard to read, it’s because I have yet to format.

General Tips

  • If you want achievements or are a completionist, make sure to tick the camp option off so any hero can join your camp.
  • One thing I’ve noticed is that money is king. The main goal is to primarily earn so much fat income that you can just instant recover your armies to keep on the offensive. Investing should be a priority over building or other options
  • Using Search early can be highly beneficial. You can earn large quantities of gold and items, items which you can also sell off for gold as well. It is also pivotal towards scoring some wild force heroes which can be useful to expand your versatile roster, some which include Iruril and Landis. Most importantly, by hiring more heroes generally, you get to do more things.
  • Celebration. Mid-game when you have some cities that have fully developed their prosperity, you can try to maintain a good uptime on Celebration to boost your income by a large margin, having adjusted the tax rates. If you have not used this feature, you are missing out. Some good units to use are Rea, Cattibrie, Kate, Jugurtha, Mayfair, Iruril, and Echeidel
  • Buff/Debuff heroes. Heroes that have buff/debuffs are especially useful in manual battles, they can elevate some of the more aggressive heroes that have boost passives even further. Peter (east) and Seyon (west) may be hard to get, but Nunu should be easy to get. They can make Marcus, Skehan, Lenna, Oravec, Aioros & Bethel hit harder. Keep in mind when using Buff/Debuff heroes means turning off auto skill usage.
  • Save scum. You can do that, and if you really want a Unmarred Necklace badly for free earlygame via Search. Though I’ve only gotten one Unmarred Necklace in 200 rounds, the later 100 rounds were spent cornering one faction to grind heroes to level 10. You can also use save scumming to persuade heroes to join you altogether without interrogation.
  • Negotiate alliances when you are focusing on dominating one side. At the very least it’s one side of your territory you don’t have to worry about or can buy you time to build up your income/celebrate/explore.
  • Prioritize taking cities with high yield or less paths of being attacked.
  • Try to attack cities that have already been weakened or attacked by other factions.
  • Stack Force and army units when doing auto battle mid-late game. E.g. Recovery Army has Assur Knights, station your camp with high force heroes and as high army number as you can go, equip with Assur Knights. This way the auto battle only takes into account military power and not unit weaknesses. You could have a squad of six heroes with up to 3000 military power each for a total of 18,000 battle strength. Most cities top around 10,000 defense.
  • Acknowledge some heroes are just not meant for battle. Look at their force rating and what skills/talents they have.
  • Generics with useful game-changing skills are sometimes better than unique heroes, costing less too.
  • Losing battles has a chance to have your units be captured and beheaded, save frequently. You may also have to decide on losing a city or not. Generally I think heroes are worth more so I don’t send heroes to fight a losing battle to keep a city.
  • Occasionally de-equip your heroes and re-equip them. This might be important to making core heroes used for key positions like Lobbying, persuading, chancellor, treasurer.
