Starfield – How to Successfully Sell Ships
Have you ever thought of **selling** your extra Starfield ships? Taking over an enemy ship and getting rid of its crew lets you claim it for yourself. You can either keep it or choose to sell it. Selling can bring in a good amount of credits since ships are worth quite a bit.
We’re here to help you with selling ships in Starfield. You’ll learn **where** to sell, **how** it’s done, and get tips to ensure you get the ship’s **full value**.
How and Where to Get the Best Deals
One of the top ways to get credits in Starfield is by selling ships you don’t need. Some players, however, find it tricky because they’re not sure where and how to do it. But don’t worry, it’s pretty simple.
You’ll need to find a **Ship Service Technician** to sell a ship. You can meet these folks in spaceports in big towns and cities. Some, like **Lon Anderssen** at the Red Mile, even deal with special ships made for smuggling goods.
Once you talk to a technician, ask to “See what ships they’re selling.” Their vendor screen will pop up. Here, you’ll see an option to “Sell” which will show all your ships.
Pick the one you want to sell and hit the “Sell” button. The credit value of your ship can be seen on the left side in the **Ship Overview**.
Remember, if your ship was damaged in a fight, its value will go down. It’s a smart move to **repair** it before selling. For just 1,000 credits, a Ship Service Technician can fix it up. Keep Ship Parts on hand for in-battle fixes.
With these steps, you’re set to make the most of selling your Starfield ships and grow your credit collection.
