Where to Begin

The portal to the Ember Valley is located at the beginning. Located in the Rainbow Fields Just like the portal to Starlight Strand. To activate the portal, first locate and pop the Pink Gordo slime.
 
 

 
 
This means that you should give the Gordo slime 32 portions of any food. Once the Gordo Slime has popped, it will release a geyser which will take you to a ledge right above the Gordo slime.
 
 

 
 

 
 
You will find an interactive device which will open Ember Valley's portal.
