In Sengoku Dynasty, joining a friend’s game isn’t easy in any way. That’s why I decided to write this guide. I’ll make the guide more current the more I figure out about this game.

Host a Game: Your Savegame

If this is your first time playing the game or you’d like to get started, choose create new savegame.

Any other saves prior to this one will be added to the list.

Host a game: private server

Select the private option to disable the server. This will generate a code (or password) that will be unique each time you do this Make sure you copy and paste the link somewhere to allow your friend to join. (discord, steam chat, etc.)

Click on create server after sharing the code.

Join a game: find an anonymous server

If your friend hosts private servers it won’t be listed on the public list.

Select the box next password and another box will be displayed, where you can copy the code that was shared by your friend.

After the code has been entered after which you can press the refresh button.

Join a team for a game

The server should be visible in the list and you are able to join it as with any other server.

The codes in this guide are DO NOT MATCH.

Troubleshooting

I didn’t have any issues while playing in my friend’s online game. Here are a few tips.

If you are unable to join games or your friend can’t join your game:

• Make sure the host loads into the game before attempting to refresh the list.
• Windows Defender might appear if you are hosting or joining your first server. Make sure that you give the game the appropriate permissions.
