Movement

Movement in the game is simple. Use WASD for walking and Space for your jump. Make sure when in a gunfight to strafe back and forth with A and D. Jumping can also help avoid incoming gunfire but removes substantial control over your movement. Be careful not to jump or walk into an object or wall. Not moving is the quickest route to death in this game.
 
 
 

The Weapons

There are three weapons in Royale Island Showdown. There is a Pistol, a Assault Rifle, and a Scoped Rifle. The player can only hold one weapon at a time. Each weapon has different properties and damage. Weapons have starting ammo of twice their initial mag size. Ammo count including stored ammo is respective to the gun, so picking up another of the same type will not transfer stored ammo. Now lets get into the different Weapons.
 
 
Pistol
 
 
Pistol is the worst weapon included in the game. It has a fair magazine size, but doesn’t deal much damage and in general is pretty bad. Only use pistol when its a first drop, or getting low on ammo for a different weapon. Try to swap out with others.
 
 
Assault Rifle
 
 
The assault rifle is a fully automatic rifle which is best used in close quarters or long range combat. Low damage but makes up for it in its fire rate and mag size. Used best when providing suppressive fire and can gather ammo easily. Great weapon choice, but requires you hit most of your shots.
 
 
Scoped Rifle
 
 
The scoped rifle is not scoped. However, it does considerable damage against enemies. It is capable of killing a player in three shots. This weapon is the AI teammates strongest. An enemy AI who wields this weapon should be dealt with from afar. Good weapon, but absolutely requires you hit shots on your enemies. Best used if you juggle weapons and swap with and Assault Rifle.
 
 
 

Gameplay Strategy

Drop Locations
 
 
There are many drop locations that work. But the best places are The Woods, The Graveyard, The Center, or any house. All of these places will most likely get you a weapon, plus many health pickups and ammo drops nearby.
 
 
Locating Enemies
 
 
Keep your eyes on the mini map at all times. The mini map will display the locations of everyone on the map. Make sure that you know where your enemies are at all time so they do not get the jump on you. Alternatively, you can look into the sky and see where enemies are on the map.
