Some info

If you have an older Nvidia GPU, like I have (GTX 660 Ti), you probably came across with this problem. When you launch the game, the game window pops up, and after a few seconds it crashes. No matter what you do, the game does not want to work.

The solution is, that you need to install an older driver from 2016!

This solution is known to work on only these cards!

If your GPU does not capable doing DirectX 12, do not try this method, it will not gonna work!

Steps

1. Uninstal your current Nvidia Driver with www.guru3d.com – https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html
2. Download the 368.81 driver form the www.nvidia.com – https://www.nvidia.com/content/DriverDownload-March2009/confirmation.php?url=/Windows/466.27/466.27-desktop-win10-64bit-international-dch-whql.exe&lang=us&type=TITAN
3. Install the driver

Last Words

Altough the game will launch perfectly, it has some graphics glitches, but most importantly, it will not run smoothly (especially the Village Demo, that’s unplayable). Even the Castle Demo is unplayable sometimes.

This was just an experiment really, I don’t really recommend this to anyone! If you really want to play this game, just upgrade to a better GPU!
