Act 4 (15-17)

Then, head to the Tavern. There you will find an NPC named Familiar Face. Contact him to obtain the Ashmaker staff and then equip it immediately before you start killing demons right and left.

Another important thing to note in the city’s lower part is the Battlebliss Arena. When you speak to the arena healer you can purchase a Demongraft for 30k gold. It gives you some great permanent benefits that include +2 AC, +2 checks to overcome resistance to spells, +2 DC to your spells, and +2 to attack and damage rolls. However, there’s a huge disadvantage… If you fall less than 20% health, you get into a frenzy, and lose control of your character until combat ceases. The bonuses are great, true, but you are still a glass cannon to start, so think very carefully if you wanna accept this. I did not.

Mutasafen and his move to the middle-city, will be an absolute headache for the arse. Before you start the fight, drop two rainbow domes (fire and acid) in the middle to keep everyone inside. This gives you a chance to fight his 10plus bombs per round. You can try moving towards the side and then destroy him with your cold spells (icy prison will not work). It will help a lot to have someone to dispel his buffs. I dropped two blade barriers on top of him and filled the area with summons. Yes cheese. But, so is his endless bomb spam.

Don’t forget to purchase larger rods from Krebus when you go to the fleshmarkets. You’ll need to have increased and secured. If you’re planning the two-bladed sword construction recommended in the equipment section, buy the Winter’s Mark from Wirlong. If you go to Shamira on the Harem, DON’T show her your dagger. She will take it from your hand.

During the search for

rescue Aivu
I strongly suggest that you kill as many enemies from the flesh market as you can before you go into the hideout. If you don’t, you will have the entire flesh market to fight against when you get out. You don’t want that, I promise. That’s .

You should make sure you buy everything you need from the vendors, and complete related quests before you kill them.

Avoid the beholder in middle because they will cause the entire area to fight. It’s better to leave them for last, after you’ve

rescued Aivu
, since you’ll have an impressive buff for the fight. After you’ve cleared the area you can go into the hideout and proceed in the normal manner. Make sure you’ve got

Aivu does not die in the fight.
to keep away from possible bugs. Be prepared to enjoy the big moment.

Pay attention to the huge reaper-like guards throughout the fight! Two Icy Prison castings can be used to hold them in place using a rod that is fastened. This will allow you time to speed them up and do your martials. You can keep the beholder busy while you take out your other enemies using casting dispels. To avoid possible bugs that I’ve seen a few people had, keep the venture captain NPC alive, and try to

Keep Aivu alive She’ll be required to complete the quest. This is the most difficult fight you’ve ever faced so be prepared to do everything. Took me a few tries.

After completing enough quests around Alushinyrra Nocticula will be able to pay you a visit. You can talk to her for some insights and earn your next mythic point. Remember: you are now able to ride Aivu! Before you travel to Colyphyr, make sure you’ve completed all your tasks in the city. Don’t forget your companions’ quests. Bring Ember along if you haven’t done it before, so she can speak with Nocticula. It’s a great choice.

Stop by the Fulsome Queen during your visit to Colyphyr and accept her offer. The dragon shouldn’t be a problem for you with 2 Polar Rays + rods per turn. As you can see that we have numerous bonuses, so even with a roll for 4, we don’t need dispels to hit a Polar Ray.

Mutasafen will be encountered towards the end of this dungeon. However it will be a lot simpler since you aren’t in the midst of enemies. You’ll have the option to accept Nocticula’s Profane Gift when you reach the final stage (I will not divulge the details). It’s possible to decline it for reasons related to roleplaying however the benefit is too great to ignore. You’ll also earn the next mythic point.

When you are back at the Nexus then return to the Fulsome Queen via the elevator to finish her quest. This will be a difficult battle if you’ve never attempted it before. Try to block the tiny passage with your tank/melee to ensure that enemies can’t get there as you blast them down. This is the area where Polar Midnight would fit in very well. Be aware of your left side since more dangers can be seen from there.

If you’d like to, you can also opt to accept the Fulsome Queen’s Unclean Gift: +2 CON, +2 natural armor, and 50 percent chance of treating critical strikes or sneak attacks against you as normal hits. However, you also get an -4 on CHA due to the foul stench and appearance. Ew. But you do you. You are not in the position of judging.

Once you have obtained the most popular metamagic mythic feat, it can apply it to all your damage spells. Level 6 can be filled with selective spells. Level 7 can be filled with selective bolstered. Level 9 can be filled with selective Polar Midnight (and some bolstered Polar Rays). You’ll never miss your target!
