Combat
Stinking Rebels
” Brand 5 Bodyguards turn against a warchief in combat. ”
To earn this achievement, you must find a warchief with one or more bodyguards (if any). Brand them all. To get the remaining bodyguards, you’ll need to command Captains, and have them fight for the Warchief you choose. You’ll also need to complete the initiations of each Captain to ensure their survival. Once you have branded 5 bodyguards you can challenge the Warchief, and command his bodyguards in battle to fight for you (I by default).
Height of Despair
” Use Strike From Above when you are at least 60 feet from your target. ”
After unlocking your “Strike from Above”, sneak kill an Uruk from any forge tower.
Black Celebration
” Poisoning a Captain during his own feast. ”
You can poison Grog Barrels after completing “The Outcasts”, the main mission. Once unlocked, you’ll need to find a Feast to go to and poison a Grog-barrel undetected. Stay hidden until the Captain drinks Grog before the achievement will pop.
The Spirit of Mordor
” Start a riot by commanding a warchief to attack a rival Warchief. ”
After Branding a warchief you simply have to grab, dominate, and command it to attack another Warchief. If you are having trouble finding the Warchiefs you branded, you can find them by going to any icon with a blue skull on your map.
The White Rider
” Ride a caragor to liberate 30 slaves within 180 seconds. ”
For this achievement, it is best to get to the Sea of Nurnen first and unlock all of the Forge Towers. Once you have done this, grab a Caragor. Then find a group of slaves that are close together to free. If there aren’t any more slaves, quickly travel to a different Forge Tower to find more groups.
Note: The timer will not start until you have liberated at least one slave.
Divide and Conquer
” Eliminate two Warchiefs’ bodyguards, then drag them out and kill the rest. ”
Before engaging in battle with the Warchief, gain information on any two Warchiefs with bodyguards.
A New Master
” Brand yourself as a captain while in combat. ”
While your hit streak is being charged, lower a captain’s health by about 10%. Then Combat Brand them.
No power in numbers
” Help a Captain survive an Recruitment Power Struggle. Then, kill him and his new recruits. ”
Start a Recruitment Event for any Captain. Eliminate any Uruks attempting to kill him by using your bow. Once the event ends and the captain has leveled up, eliminate the Captain and all his followers.
Rise and Fall
” After an uruk has killed you to become Captain, help the uruk become a warchief, and then kill him. ”
Allow a random Uruk (preferably one without other bodyguards), to kill you, so that he becomes a Captain. After that, Brand him. Command him to become the bodyguard of a Warchief. After that defeat the Warchief to have the Captain take his place, and then kill newly promoted Warchief.
Burning Vengeance
” Execute on a Berserker that is flaming. ”
Find a group Uruks and a Berserker near a fire and fight them till you reach a high multiplier. Once your multiplier reaches a certain level, throw the Berserker in the fire and execute him quickly.
Note: Sometimes, it may be necessary to remove all epic ranes on your weapons in order to complete this achievement.
And it Burns
” Use the Detonate option to burn up to 50 uruks. ”
After unlocking Detonate for your bow, shoot at campfires of Grog barrels with Uruks gathered around.
Unleashed
” Free 5 caragors. ”
This one is easy, just aim your bow at the gates of enemy strongholds where you can find the Caragor cages.
Jaws of Death
” Attract caragors five times with bait. ”
You’ll be shooting hanging torsos, which can be found in any stronghold.
Fly you fools!
” Drop Morgai Fly nests to make 20 uruks run away. ”
Shoot Morgai Fly nests using the bow to earn this achievement. You can also climb over them to drop the nests on enemies.
Iron of Death
” Send a Death Threat and then kill your target. ”
After completing the story and reaching the Sea of Nurnen, you will be able unlock the Death Threat. Once the ability is unlocked you can issue a Death threat to a captain or warchief after branding any Uruk.
A Graug’s Heel
” Capitalize on the Fear of a Warchief. ”
The easiest way is to find a warchief who is afraid of Caragors, and lure them with bait. Or shoot their cages while the Warchief is near.
Power Vacuum
” The 5 Warchiefs must be killed before any Uruks can take their places. ”
You can do this easier in Udun.
Note: You’ll need to eliminate all Warchiefs before bodyguards to ensure that Uruks do not take their place.
Lord and Master
“Brand all 5 Warchiefs.”
This achievement is obtained by completing the main storyline after reaching the Sea of Nurnen.
A Mighty Doom
” Acquire the Rune at level 25. ”
The requirements for a drop of a level 25 rune are as follows:
Enemy Level 20
Warchiefs get +2
+1 for Vengeance
+1 for Fear/Hatred Exaggerated
Knowing Weaknesses is a plus
