Backing up your Save

Holocure will store your saved file on a different part of your computer to your game directory. No matter where your original folder and.exe were located, the location and the steps should be identical for everyone.

1. Navigate here
   
   Users\[your username]\AppData\Local\HoloCure
   
   Below:

   

2. Look for save_n.dat. This is the file which contains your save data. This file should be copied to a folder for backup.

   

3. Download the Steam Version. If you see achievement pop-ups that show you what you did on the previous save, CONGRATS there is no need to do more. Continue to the following step if you are given a fresh save by the game.
4. Back to Homepage
   
   Users\[your username]\AppData\Local\HoloCure
   
   The majority of files will have a new date “Date Modified”. Replace the newly created file with your backup save_n.dat.

   

5. Now, start the game and see how your screen becomes flooded with notification of achievement!
