These tips and guidelines help you win as both Survivor and Raider.

Intro

This guide will give you tips on how to win as Survivor or Raider. First, I want to point out that the current game balance means that new Survivors will not win. However, they will almost always win as they gain experience and learn. This takes time, and you may not always have a great team. However, your teams will improve over time. These tips will hopefully help you get there a little faster.

Survivor Basics

These are the basics of being a survivor. I’ll cover more advanced stuff later, but it’s important to know this information if you don’t already.

  • This is not a fighting game! This is not a fighting game. For new players, the game’s goal is not to kill or hurt the Raider. It is for survivors to survive against him. If you are at his level, you can fight him to a halt until you run out of energy. At that point, you will die if your escape plan is not successful. You can do some damage if you are at a higher level than him, but eventually, you will run out of energy. For the basics, you can’t fight, just run away and live to fight another day.
  • Do not lead the enemy to your team. If he has you, then you’re dead. Do not drag your teammates down to try to get them to save you. He will get 2 kills and you won’t be saved.
  • Rescuing citizens is the best way to level up while quickly denying Raider energy for levels. Keep your distance from the Raider to prevent him from becoming weaker while the team grows stronger. Listening to citizens calling for help is the best way to locate them.
  • Namekians will be included in Citizens if Frieza is versing. Namekians may sometimes have Dragon Balls. Frieza also gets extra energy when he kills Namekians. Therefore, rescuing them is triple important. Namekians speak differently than humans, so it is easier to prioritize their voices once they are recognized.
  • The etiquette dictates that you give the Dragon Ball to the person who has the most. You can see the instructions for dropping it in the lower left corner of your screen. Drop it near the person with the most opportunities to summon Shenron. Do not stand there holding it, especially if the other person is spamming Dragon Balls. Give it to them.
  • You may come across a Radar while searching for Power Keys in chests. There are three Radars. There are three Radars: Power Key Radar, Citizen Radar and Dragon Radar. Dragon Radar is available in three levels, which makes all Radars see further away. While the Citizen Radar is largely useless, the Power Key Radar and Lvl 2 or 3 Dragon Radars are strong enough to tell you what you should do in a match. Power Key Radar is when allies are allowed to place the Power Keys. Two or three Dragon Radars mean it’s time for you to search for Dragon Balls almost exclusively (, though I recommend rescuing citizens along your way)
  • Space out your transformations to defeat the Raider if you have the Super Time Machine. The Super Time Machine is a bomb that counts down to the Raider. Keep him distracted one person at a while to get that clock to count down as fast and as efficiently as possible.
  • Right-click is your dodge if you need to hold the enemy down. Melee attacks are a great way to waste time, so use them whenever you can or fly around and keep your enemy focused on you.
  • If you are forced to fight, keep your distance and fire ki blasts(melee attacks button at a long-range), especially if a teammate is holding the enemy down in melee. This does more damage than melee. You should not waste your special as it will drain your transformation quickly. It can be saved as a last hit.
  • You might be the one who summons Shenron if you happen to get the Dragon Balls. Is your entire team alive at level 1 or 2 against a level 3 Raider? Perhaps you wish everyone could level up instead of just you. You’ll want to make yourself stronger in almost all other cases because level 4 is infinitely more powerful than level 3.
  • Remember that this is a team sport and not a solo competition. Sometimes, it is worth sacrificing yourself to ensure the team wins. You shouldn’t kill yourself, but don’t be afraid of taking a huge risk if necessary.

Recommendations for Survival Skills

Active Skills: Grappling Device Capsule (Single Wheel Motorbike) Charming Pose, Saiyan Remote, Trap Device

Passive Skills – Emergency Transformation(only while you learn), Barrier Auto Recovery, VIP Special, Expert driver [Speed Boost], Expert driver [JumpBoost], Wall Kick

Grapple is a great way to get around the map. It’s easy to get started.

Motorbikes for fast transport across the map. Add Expert Driver’s to get a faster speed and a higher jump.

Charming Pose is a faster version Solar Flare that can stun the Raider for just one second then Grapple far away.

Saiyan pod has been nerfed since beta, but it’s still great to plan. It’s easy to travel anywhere on the map.

Because it has a low cooldown, Trap Device is excellent for caves. The Raider must be stunned by it to reach the cave. Run into a cave and drop it. Then wait for the stun to wear off, then Grapple out. For an extra stun, you may be able drop another one at the cave exit.

If you’re not a skilled at emergency transformation, it will save you. It is possible to put it aside once you have learned.

Barrier Recovery is great because you no longer have to carry the Barrier capsules around.

VIP Special: Cooldown Drinks and Energy at a Discount from the Vending Machines

Wall Kick can be a difficult move but once you master it you will be able to climb walls quickly.

Advanced Survival Tips

These tips will help you to use your knowledge and experience to maximize your effectiveness.

  • Keep the Raider busy as long as possible if he finds you. Fight him for a second. Fly into a cave, drop traps or wait for him to enter. Use a charming pose and motorbike out of there at speed. Then, grab a grappling hook far away. It won’t take long, but it will be worth every second, especially at the beginning.
  • If you are at the Raider’s level or higher, you can use the tactic described above to harass him. It takes 7 people to poke him and keep him distracted. This should only be done if you are confident in your escape skills. Otherwise, you will just be feeding him.
  • If you are in Comms, give all Dragon Balls and Dragon Radars to anyone with a high Dragon Radar level and keep the Raider away from them.
  • Dragon Balls can be dropped from high in the air. You can fight the enemy to get one. He will drop it and then you can pick it up, fly high, and drop it before he disappears. You will have an opportunity to grab them from him.
  • If the Raider has a Zone Destruction, don’t Summon Shenron. It can block Shenron. If he wants to save it, you can go to an area with the key (. If you don’t have it, you can search for it at). Summon Shenron to get it again. You should be ready to fight him in this instance, as he will want the Dragon Balls.
  • People don’t look up. If you run out of cooldowns, fly as high and fast as possible. He might lose track of your movements and he may even kill you.
  • Keep the Super Time Machine between you and Raider while it charges. Charming Pose can be used to stop him from trying to move around. He will likely attempt to melee at this distance and dodge rolls to avoid melee attacks easily. To keep the Raider following, you can lay traps, dodge, and Charming Pose. He will eventually destroy the machine, but he won’t stop until he has killed the Survivor.
  • The best way to avoid Kid Buu’s Super Special Attack is to hide beneath something that cannot be destroyed. Even if you are inside the AoE, the blasts will not penetrate.
  • Buu will absorb Senzu beans, so if you have any, you can use them to revive them. Otherwise, find Fat Buu immediately and then resurrect after fleeing.
  • Don’t fight Spopovich. He appears weak, and if the Raider does not do well, he will become weaker. However, a good Spopovich player can end the game with no problems. Majin Buu should be delayed as much as possible to prevent him from gaining energy from Citizens or you.
  • The best way to fight Buu is against Fat Buu. Super Buu is as powerful as Frieza and can hunt down players and Cell. Keep Buu as low as possible. This applies to all Raiders, but Buu is the most important.

Conclusion

These tips should be helpful to everyone. Although the game is still in its infancy and there are still some issues to address, I think it’s a great experience and everyone will have a great time. I noticed that Survivor was being criticized more so I decided to delay the Raider tips to give Survivors a slight advantage in learning.
