Hey there, welcome to this post, Welcome to Divinity II: Developer’s Cut – How to Use Hex Edit for Mindreading This guide contains gameplay, informations, basic builds, solutions guidelines and a lot more.
This is a simple and quick hex-edit that lets mindreading free of expense.
In the basic game, mindreading isn’t an issue since the EXP increases according to your level. If you are lagging behind due to mindreading too much and the enemies begin giving you more EXP to help you catch up. In the expansion pack, (Flames of Vengeance, also known as the Aleroth Chapter) The costs for mindreading are astronomical and range from 7.5-22k for each NPC. It is easy to be in debt of more than 200k and enemies will only give you 3-4k worth of EXP. The enemies in the expansion DO reappear and you’re not forever screwed. However, it’s an exhausting grind and I eventually became tired of it.
Open binDivinity2.exe using an editor for hex such as

Replace 8B 44 24 04 01 81 90 by 31 C0 90 90 89 81 90. In HxD you can search for 8B 44 24 04 01 81 90 using Search to Replace Hex-values.
This accomplishes two things:
Mindreading will display an EXP price however, there will be no EXP credit will be accrued.
If you are in the middle of any EXP debts that are due, they will be reset to zero when you read someone’s mind.
While you’re doing the same at the same time, you can also apply the
4GB patch 4GB patch [ntcore.com4GB patch – [ntcore.com
The expansion pack is extremely vulnerable to crashes.
