Dismantled – secret guide

Introduction

This guide will contain each secret from every level in the main game of Dismantled, but will not include spoilers of screenshots of where or what the most cryptic secrets contain. These are left out of the guide for the players to explore for themselves, as this guide is aimed to show players how to find the secrets rather than explaining what they contain. 
 
 
 

Basement of martyrs

There are four secrets that can be found inside the basement of martyrs. 
 
1. Secret supply room: 
The first and earliest secret that can be found in Dismantled is located in one of the first large areas the player will discover, the area with the gas leak to their right upon entering the room from the catwalk and with the biggie monster to the left that stands on the death trap. 
 
 
This secret can be accessed by climbing up on the railing of the catwalk on the right side, then jump over to the railing on the left side then continue walking along the railings till you face the wall on the left side of the room, there will be a hidden wall that leads to a room that has two corpses hanging from the ceiling and stocked with ammunition and a medkit 
 
 
 
 
 
 
2. Secret back tunnels to cells: 
Walking along the hallway from the large room leads to a tunnel way where a piece of wall can be found sticking out. Interacting with the wall will push it aside and reveal a secret crawl tunnel to the cells inside the cells 
 
 
 
 
3. Secret girl with medkit 
When moving past the double doors that leads to a room with a broken pillar to the left. Continuing along the tunnel on the right will have a tiny crack along the right hand side of the wall that leads to this secret. 
 
 
 
 
4. Basement chainsaw sequence secret 
This secret is hidden behind the blue door with blood spatter on it, past the other side of the freezer room. In order to unlock this door, the player needs to interact with three different blood splatters along the walls of the basement. 
First splatter can be found to the right of the Fire axe 
 
 
 
Second is found inside the gas leak room, however in order to reach this one. The player will find a tiny gap along the left wall next to the square pit that drops down to the biggie and the death trap, walk along that seam and activate the splatter 
 
 
 
Third is found in one of the smaller rooms inside the surgeon table section past the cells. 
 
 
 
Upon interacting with the first two splatters, a text-box will appear and the third one confirming the door being unlocked. 
 
 
 
 
 
 

First floor

1. Secret vent to courtyard early 
Requirement: Having unlocked basement chainsaw secret 
This secret is the first cryptic secret that can be found as soon as the player can access the first floor. This secret requires the player to go through the first vent that has the box stacked up as stairs. 
As the player ventures deeper into the vent, on the path that leads to the left to a dead end that is inaccessible to the player leading straight up. An ink ribbon is found there and by looking straight up, a cross can be seen. Shooting the cross and causing it to drop down on the player will unlock the secret inside another vent nearby. 
 
 
 
Next the player has to continue through the vent, grab the key to the door that leads to a hallway that has another vent, inside that vent another path will have been unlocked as a result of shooting down the cross from the previous vent. This secret vent path will lead to the courtyard where June is located. (Continue to Courtyard sequence for more) 
 
 
 
 
2. Ceiling platforms secret 
Inside the room with the blue carpet that leads has a door leading to the red wire puzzle, or the vent to the C4 on the right. The platforms on the ceiling can be jumped up to from the railings along the stairs. 
 
 
 
 
3. Secret dead end in C4 vent 
When entering the vent that leads to the C4, when passing the office that has a note with John’s name on it, continuing on there is a drop point that will lead the player back to the kitchen, however the other side of the vent can be accessed by performing a well timed crouch jump, leading to a dead end that has a medkit on the other side 
 
 
 
 
4. Freezer secret 
Along the south-eastern corner of the freezer, a tiny gap along the floor can be seen by the player along the east wall. This wall can be unlocked by having the player crouch jump to the top of the boxes that are stacked like a ramp. upon reaching the top the wall will be raised for a brief moment. 
Past it contains a frozen human, interacting with it will bring the player to a mysterious place. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Second floor

1. Secret wall scribbling room 
By entering the double doors at the second floor inside the lobby, the first secret player will encounter is a vent that can be accessed by crouch jumping first from the bottom rubble, climbing further up on the rubble and then crouch jumping to the vent. 
 
 
 
 
2. Secret Dog vent 
Inside the statue puzzle room, a vent is found next to a green couch. crouch jumping from the couch will let the player access the vent, leading to an dead end with a dog enemy guarding it. 
This secret will unlock another secret in this section. 
 
 
 
 
3. Secret Martyr girl 
Requirement: Dog vent secret and text box from vent leading to library 
In order to unlock this secret. The player must first unlock the secret inside the dog vent by the statue puzzle room, and also climbed through the vent leading to the library and prompting the text box that appears. 
This will remove a hidden wall that previously prevented the player from reaching the martyr girl located behind the rubble from the collapsed roof along the further north part of the second floor. 
 
 
4. Secret boss 
Requirement: Martyr girl and healing items 
Along the hallway with the martyr girl, a hidden pathway to another secret can be found by interacting with a tiny part of the wall along the end of the hallway.

The vent behind the wall will take the player to a secret section of the second floor leading eventually to a blue door. Passing through the blue door will take the player to a secret boss fight. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Courtyard

1. Secret to third floor 
This secret can be found early or late depending on whether the player did crawl out the secret vent from first floor, or unlocking the door leading out to the courtyard with the red and yellow wire. 
A ladder can be seen hanging from the third floor along the building. this ladder can be accessed by stepping on a certain rubble tile close to the huge gap on the road. This will spawn a barely visible cross similar to the previous vent secret and by shooting this will raise the rubble tile and let the player walk along the brick wall. 
NOTE: This can only be accessed once, if you fall off from here or reach the end of this secret, this pathway cannot be re accessed. 
Continue walking along the brick wall till you reach the ladder. 
NOTE: You need to touch the ladder with the hitbox in order to prompt the "SECRET" text box, simply interacting with it from a distance will prevent this. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Reject’s lair

1. Secret gem door skip 
Requirement: 
C4 from first floor secret vent 
Bolt cutters from third floor secret 
The weak wall found on the left hand side of the reject’s cell can be blown apart with c4 and lead the player to a hidden path that takes them past the gem puzzle door. 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Escape

Once the player has passed the gem puzzle door and enters the escape cave. The final two secrets can be found. 
 
1. Hidden corpse room 
Past the first open space cave filled with all sorts of monsters. The player will drop down to a section of the cave which has pathways leading both left and right. Right having a climb that leads to the next part of the escape caves, meanwhile the left leads to a secret. heading the path to the left till the player passes a martyr girl, there is a hidden wall that can be raised by interacting with it, leading the player to a circular room with a medkit inside. 
 
 
 
 
2. Cemetery home secret 
When reaching the cemetery home. The final secret can be found by interacting with the walls along the pillars that has a cross on it. 
Spawning the last secret of the game at the top middle part of the roof. 
It teleports the player shortly to a secret area.
