It’s not clear what the name is of the underground town with the coffins and pools, but Old Amsterdam seems to be a safe guess. It was initially discovered by clipping off-limits. Initially, we thought it was an unfinished game part. However, we have since found the normal way to reach the underground city, which the developers meant. This is a very purposeful easter egg. We need to know the way down there so that we can figure out what’s happening.

Start at the Underground Bazaar. Talk to the Oldheads to unlock it.

When you enter, you will see a wall ride area where you can ride on suspended rails. Start there.

Once you are on the big circular rail there will be a wallride leading to a tube with a rail atop. This is the next step.

From here, the vent next to the JD advertisement is barely visible. It’s our aim, and to get there we have to ride these rails until the end. Then we can climb up on the barely visible ledges along walls.

Once you are on the ledges you will need to jump over these wide columns in order to reach the next ledge. This will take you to the JD ad that we saw previously. Once you’ve done it enough times, you will be able to jump across these gaps with a simple double leap. However, a jump double followed by a boost jump is the safest option to ensure that you can clear the column. If you brush against the wall it will stop your momentum and send your down like a boulder. Make sure you get enough air to not have to restart the line.

Once you are next to an ad you will be next to a vent. You can even knock the vent out of the way if you use a boost jump. Slide through to the secret underground city. Then explore on your oown.
