are you sick and tired having to wait till you can play quake? do you already know who is responsible for the game
 
and don’t need a constant reminder that bugthesda is one of the companies involved?
 
 
fear not. i got the solution!
 
 

Here is how:

1. right click on quake in your steam library
 
 
2. left click “properties”
 
 
3. first tab should be “General”
 
 
4. copy and past this command line argument into “launch options”
 

 
“+g_showintromovie 0”
 
 
5. et voila – no intro movies =)
