Introduction

Purpose:

This guide was created in order to help players keep track of all of the available side quests in the game, known as requests. There are a total of 81 requests spread throughout the course of the game, including the ones required for the missable “What are Friends For?” achievement. In order to differentiate between them, the requests have been marked with a number of separate icons, listed below in the legend.

2nd of August

 

• 1.Take Back the Desire – Shibuya Jail

Received from Futaba automatically. Just head to the Shibuya Jail and win the fight at the first intersection.

 

3rd of August

 

• 2.Prison Mail, Part 1 – Fuse Archangel with the Skill Amrita Drop

Go to the Velvet Room and fuse a Andras and a Succubus to receive a Hua Po, then fuse a level 14 Hua Po with a level 14 High Pixie to receive an Archangel. Make sure to keep the Amrita Drop skill during the fusion process.

• 3.Painful Past: Alice Hiiragi – Shibuya Jail

Head back to Shibuya Jail and defeat Alice once again to complete this request.

• 4.Gusts of Punishment – Shibuya Jail

Defeat 3 Succubus with their weakness (Wind/Bless). You can find them where the machine guns were shooting at you (Shibuya 705 Area).

• 5.Cold-Blooded Treatment – Sendai Jail

Defeat 3 Lamia with their weakness (Ice). You can find them throughout the Sendai Jail.

• 6.Sendai Sweets – Sendai Station

Talk to Ann to receive it, then buy the stuff she wants from the shops / vending machines. This request is part of “What are Friends For?” achievement and is missable.

• 7.Lending a Paw – Sendai Station

Once you finish the requests in Shibuya, Morgana will ask for help with getting stuff for Ann. Talk to the NPCs in the park and once the manager in black talks to you head back to the station. Listen to the guy near Futaba next, then head back to the manager in black clothes and finally buy the stuff at Cafe Blue, the shop next to you. This request is part of “What are Friends For?” achievement and is missable.

 

8th of August

 

• 8.Trapped in Wonderland – Shibuya Jail

Head back to the sewers where you first met Sophie and shortly before the room climb up the sluices there to find the floating cube Mona wants. It looks like a normal item that you pickup in the Jails except that it has a blue glow to it.

• 9.Junk Collection, Part 1 – Shibuya Jail

Collect floating cubes in the Shibuya Jail until you reach 15 of the required item.

• 10.Painful Past: Ango Natsume – Sendai Jail

Head back to the Sendai Jail and fight the Dragon Boss again.

• 11.Sophia’s Weapon Shop – Sendai Jail

Defeat 20 High Pixie. You can find them throughout the Sendai Jail.

• 12.Sophia’s Armor Shop – Sendai Jail

Defeat 5 Orthus. You can find them near the castle entrance.

 

11th of August

 

• 13.Prison Mail, Part 2 – Fuse Eligor with the Skill Divine Grace

Go to the Velvet Room and fuse an Orthus and a Lamia to create an Ame no Uzune, then fuse a level 29 Ame no Uzune with a level 25 Lilim. Make sure you keep the Divine Grace skill during the fusion process.

• 14.Prison Mail, Part 3 – Fuse Kaiwan with the Skill Makouga

Go to the Velvet Room and fuse a level 27 Principality with a level 26 Setanta. Make sure to keep the Makouga skill during the fusion process.

• 15.Trapped in a Nightmare – Sendai Jail

The box is on the roofs where you first crossed the invisible platforms, on the right side of the building that you jumped across using the quick time event jumps.

• 16.Enduring a Slimy Hell – Sendai Jail

Defeat 50 Slimes as Joker. You can find them close to the entrance of the Jail, but also in the shrines that you discover during the main story.

• 17.Junk Collection, Part 2 – Sendai Jail

Collect floating cubes in the Sendai Jail until you reach 12 of the item needed.

• 18.Bug Blaster – Sapporo Jail

Kill 8 Mothman with Guns. You can find a huge amount of them in the Sapporo Clocktower zone. Make sure to use guns as the last hit.

• 19.Sub-Zero in Sapporo – Sapporo Jail

Defeat 20 Jack Frost with their Weakness (Fire). If you don’t have a fire persona, make sure to use Panther as a way of hitting their weaknesses.

• 20.Psychokinetic Siege – Sapporo Jail

Defeat 3 Setanta hitting their Weakness (Psy). If you don’t have a psychokinesis Persona, make sure to use Noir as a way of hitting their weaknesses.

• 21.Nuking the Stars – Any Jail

Defeat 3 Kaiwan hitting their Weakness (Nuclear). If you don’t have a nuclear Persona, make sure to use Queen as a way of hitting their weaknesses.

• 22.Blessing the Wicked – Any Jail

Defeat 3 Lilim hitting their Weakness (Wind/Bless). If you don’t have a wind or a bless Persona, make sure to use Mona or Sophie as a way of hitting their weaknesses.

• 23.Cursing Those on High – Any Jail

Defeat 3 Principality hitting their Weakness (Curse). You can use Joker to hit their weaknesses.

• 24.Love Soupreme – Sapporo Central

Talk to Ryuji and he will ask for meal tickets, set this as your active request in the menu and talk with the guy in the white shirt in front of the Akagire shop (has a red sign), it will unlock another request that you will have to finish first. Head back to this one after finishing request 25 and return again to the same shop and, after talking to the guy again you can buy 2 meal tickets to complete request. This request is part of “What are Friends For?” achievement and is missable.

• 25.The Apothecary’s Connection – Sapporo Jail

Kill 10 Mothman as Sophie. This request is part of “What are Friends For?” achievement and is missable.

 

17th of August

 

• 26.Prison Mail, Part 4 – Fuse Mithra with the Skill Regenerate

Go to the Velvet Room and fuse a level 27 Principality with a level 31 Setanta. Make sure you keep the Regenerate Skill during the fusion process.

• 27.Painful Past: Mariko Hyodo – Sapporo Jail

Head back to the Sapporo Jail and beat the Snow Queen once more.

• 28.Trapped in a Frozen Hell – Sapporo Jail

You can find this box by heading to Arboretum. Right before the first snowboard section, ignore that route and head back down instead and you will find the box that you need.

• 29.Junk Collection, Part 3 – Sapporo Jail

Once again collect the floating cubes until you have 12 of the item needed in the Sapporo Jail.

• 30.Beachside Blast – Sapporo Jail

Talk to Makoto on the beach to receive this request. Makoto wants you to buy a watermelon from one of the shops in Okinawa as well as defeat 10 Jack Frost as Queen inside the Sapporo Jail. This request is part of “What are Friends For?” achievement and is missable.

 

18th of August

 

• 31.Okinawan Art Appreciation – Okinawa Jail

Talk to Yusuke after finishing the jail to receive the request. You will have to kill 10 Shiisa as Fox inside the Okinawa Jail. This request is part of “What are Friends For?” achievement and is missable.

 

23rd of August

 

• 32.Prison Mail, Part 5 – Fuse Unicorn with the Skill Zionga

Go to the Velvet Room and fuse a level 35 Shiisa with a level 33 Black Ooze. Make sure you keep the Zionga Skill during the fusion process.

• 33.Elegant Experiment – Any Jail

Kill 8 enemies at the same time with as Showtime Attack.

• 34.Junk Collection, Part 4 – Okinawa Jail

Go to the Jail and collect floating cubes until you reach 12 items needed.

• 35.Shocking the Scum – Okinawa Jail

Defeat 20 Black Ooze with their Weakness (Lightning). You can find them spread throughout the Okinawa Jail.

• 36.Trapped in Ruins – Mona Box 4 – Okinawa Jail

You can find it on top of a container in the area with the Dire Shadow.

 

24th of August

 

• 37.A Thief’s Challenge: Panther – Shibuya Jail

You will have to start Shibuya Jail at the beginning and reach the depths of the sewers without raising an alarm. You can attack enemies, as long as you strike first this request will complete. Make sure to avoid spotlights as well.

• 38.Sophia’s Armor Shop Redux – Kyoto Jail

Defeat 10 Koppa Tengu as Wolf. You can find a lot of these enemies in the entrance zone of the Jail.

• 39.Sophia’s Weapon Shop Redux – Kyoto Jail

Hit 5 Neko Shogun with a Phantom Dash.

• 40.An Ebon God Descends – Sendai Jail

You will be transported to the Velvet Room automatically and will receive it afterwards. You will have to find a mini-boss in Sendai and beat him, he will be next to the castle entrance checkpoint.

• 41.Cooking Papa – Osaka City

Talk to Zenkichi and you will be asked to talk Futaba and Haru. Once you do that, cook the recipe they come up with to complete this request. This request is part of “What are Friends For?” achievement and is missable.

• 42.Obanzai Ingredients – Osaka City

When you talk to Haru about Zenkichi’s request, she will give you a list of ingredients she needs. Buy them from the shops in the area as well as from Sophia’s Shop in the RV. This request is part of “What are Friends For?” achievement and is missable.

• 43.Forging the Ultimate Menu – Osaka City

After cooking the stuff with Haru, talk to Futaba and she will also give you a list of ingredients. Get the stuff and deliver it. This request is part of “What are Friends For?” achievement and is missable.

• 44.Trapped in Shrine Gates – Kyoto Jail

You can find this cube in one of the areas with small lanterns, where the Neko Shogun is
spawning during the story.

• 45.Junk Collection, Part 5 – Kyoto Jail

Once again collect boxes until you have enough materials to complete this request.

• 46.A Thief’s Challenge: Fox

Reach the marker on your map without raising alarm, just beat up the enemies on your way before they spot you and avoid the spotlights.

• 47.A Thief’s Challenge: Wolf – Sendai Jail

Beat up 10 High Pixie with a Phantom Dash.

• 48.Prison Mail, Part 6 – Queen Mab with skill Technical Adept

Go to the Velvet Room and fuse a Level 37 Kaiwan with a Level 40 Kikuri-Hime. Make sure you keep the Technical Adept Skill during the fusion process.

• 49.Junk Collection, Part 6 – Osaka Jail

Go in the Osaka Jail and collect boxes until you have enough materials to complete this request.

• 50.A Thief’s Challenge: Noir – Sapporo Jail

Once again reach the spot marked on your map without raising an alarm and without getting detected by the spotlights.

• 51.A Thief’s Challenge: Skull – Osaka Jail

Defeat 20 Naga and 5 Valkyrie. You can find a lot of them close to the entrance of the castle.

• 52.The Hound of Hades Howls – Osaka Jail

You can find him in the Zoo area of the Osaka Jail.

 

25th of August

 

• 53.Elegant Experiment Extended – Kyoto Jail

Kill 12 enemies with one Show Time Attack.

• 54.A Thief’s Challenge: Queen – Okinawa Jail

Once again head to the point on your map without alarming the enemies and avoiding the spotlights.

• 55.A Thief’s Challenge: Sophie – Kyoto Jail

Another stealth challenge which requires you to reach a certain point without alerting enemies and avoiding the spotlights.

• 56.Make the Way for the Frozen King – Sapporo Jal

Defeat the strong enemy in Arboretum area to complete this request.

 

28th of August

 

• 57.Trapped in Dystopia – Osaka Jail

In the air with the many cargo containers area.

• 58.Prison Mail, Part 7 – Trumpeter with the Skill Diarahan

Go to the Velvet Room and fuse a level 54 Norn with a level 48 Sarasvati. Make sure you keep the Diarahan Skill during the fusion process.

• 59.Junk Collection, Part 7 – Osaka Jail

Just like before, collect floating cubes until you have 12 of the item needed.

• 60.A Thief’s Challenge: Wolf, Pt, 2 – Osaka Jail

Once again reach the marked point without raising an alarm and avoiding the spotlights.

• 61.Employee Course Correction – Osaka Jail

Defeat 5 Ganesha and 5 Raja Naga in the Osaka Jail.

• 62.Painful Past: Akira Konoe – Osaka Jail

Rematch with the boss of the Osaka Jail.

• 63.Halt the Strutting Little Imp – Shibuya Jail

You can find him at the entrance, at the very beginning of the Jail.

 

30th of August

 

• 64.Prison Mail, Part 8 – Cu Chulainn with the Skill Concentrate

Go to the Velvet Room and fuse a Level 59 Mot with a level 55 Nebiros. Make sure you keep the Concentrate Skill during the fusion process.

• 65.Prison Mail, Part 9 – Dominion with the Skill Nuke Amp

Go to the Velvet Room and fuse a level 62 Mot with a level 60 Forneus. Make sure you keep the Nuke Amp Skill during the fusion process.

• 66.Trapped in the Abyss – Abyss Jail

It’s on the ledge just before the drop to the 3rd checkpoint.

• 67.Trapped in the Great Tree – Tree of Life

On the fifth floor to your right will be a ledge with a chest, there is the cube as well.

• 68.Junk Collection, Part 8 – Abyss Jail

Once again collect the floating cubes until you have enough of the item needed.

• 69.Junk Collection, Part 9 – Tree of Life

Same as before.

• 70.A Thief’s Challenge: Mona – Abyss Jail

Reach the point marked on your map without raising alarm and avoiding the spotlights.

• 71.A Thief’s Special Challenge – Tree of Life

Same as before.

• 72.Painful Past: Demiurge – Tree of Life

Beat the final boss again.

• 73.Painful Past +: Alice Hiiragi

Another rematch with the Shibuya Jail boss.

• 74.Painful Past +: Ango Nastune

Another rematch with the Sendai Jail boss.

• 75.Painful Past +: Mariko Hyodo

Another rematch with the Sapporo Jail boss.

• 76.Dragon Slayer Enters the Fray – Kyoto Jail

Follow the portals until you reach one of the two big rooms where you had to fight mini bosses during the story and beat the strong enemy there.

• 77.The Writhing Nightmare Rising – Okinawa Jail

In the very last room of the Jail you will find the strong enemy you have to defeat.

• 78.Angel of Contracts Descends – Tree of Life

Next to the final checkpoint, just before the door to the final boss.

• 79.Painful Past +: Akira Konoe

Another rematch with the Osaka Jail boss.

• 80.Painful Past +: Demiurge

Another rematch with the final boss.

• 81.Knocking on Death’s Door – Okinawa Jail

The Reaper fight. You will find him at the very end of the Okinawa Jail.
