Requirements for importing your Custom Music
If you wish to incorporate your own music to Ink. you will have to
Download this zip file: [google.com]
. Extract the zip file after downloading it.
This zip file contains:
QuickBMS, universal script based extractor and reimporter of files;
– yoyogames.bms script for QuickBMS used to import/export GameMaker 2 games;
– AUDO The folder will contain your customized music files.
This is the file name and size of the original music files.
0000075b | 5,74mb
0000075c | 11,3mb
0000075d | 12,2mb
0000075e | 7,61mb
00000761 | 7,33mb
00000762 | 17,0mb
00000764 | 8,84mb
Keep in mind:
1. File size is not allowed to be greater than the original files.
2. Of course, your custom music file name must be the same as the original file you’re trying to replace
3. Files must be in .wav format
For instance, you want to replace file “0000075b”.
1. The maximum file size should be 5,74 MB;
2. Your name for your custom music file must be “0000075b”.
3. The format of the file has to be.wav
Converting .mp3 to .wav
This is a simple task that you can accomplish by yourself.
Audacity – [youtu.beAudacity – [youtu.be
This is how it works
Compressing .wav files
While this isn’t necessary all the time You will notice that.wav files weigh more than.mp3 files. If your file is larger than the original file size, then it’s a problem.
This website can be used to compress the.wav files.
xconvert [xconvert.com]
Set the sample rate to 16000 hz, or If the file is still too large, try 12000 (lower than the audio quality isn’t high enough).
Importing your Custom Music
Once you have your .wav file, you can put it in the “AUDO” folder. The final product will look like this:
Run reimport.bat. Then, you will be asked to choose a BMS script. Choose the “yoyogames.bms script”
After you have selected the script, you will be asked for an input file. You need to go to Ink. ‘s local files and double click on “data.win”
After selecting the input file, you will be asked to select an output folder. The output folder is the one which contains the .wav files you wish to import. As you can see, you don’t have to be in the folder.
In the end, everything should work well and you can begin the game and enjoy your Custom Music.
