This guide shows where all the Treasures and Hearts are located.
 
 

Introduction

This guide is to help you locate all the Treasures and Hearts throughout the game. I haven’t written exact step by step instructions on how to find each item. Instead I’ve just written brief directions and provided screenshots to help you navigate.
 
I’ve also included the locations of a few easy to miss rooms that don’t have any treasures inside but are required for 100% map completion.

Town

 
 

Heart #1

 
The only item in the Town is a Heart located in one of the houses. In order to reach it you must drop under the bridge here and swim down until you enter a new area. Make your way though the cave and you’ll reach the other side of the wall where the Heart is located.
 
 

 
 

 
 
 

Thieves’ Forest

 
 

Heart #2

 
Not far into the level drop down into this small ditch and find a Heart hidden behind an opening.
 
 

 
 

Coin Collecting Device

 
When you reach the area with two tall trees either side stand on this branch and jump up. Keep heading up and you find the Coin Collecting Device.
 
 

 
 

 
 

Skill Scroll

 
Drop down this swap and you’ll enter a cave. Not far in will be the Skill Scroll.
 
 

 
 

 
 

Heart #3

 
Just like the first Heart in this level the second is located behind a hidden opening.
 
 

 
 

Gale Boots

 
After you defeat the boss you’ll find the Gale Boots inside the house.
 
 

 
 
 

Haunted Mansion

 
 

Heart #4

 
Drop down here and head right to find the Heart.
 
 

 
 

 
 

Walljump Scroll

 
You’ll come across a bone dragon, defeat it and the Walljump Scroll will be located behind it.
 
 

 
 

Jump Feather

 
Enter this door and push the block to the far end of the room. Use it to reach the Jump Feather on the top level.
 
 

 
 

 
 

Heart #5

 
Enter this door and the Heart will be on the right.
 
 

 
 

 
 

Clairvoyant Jewel

 
Jump while standing here. The platform will spin around dropping you into the pit. Make your way along this new path and find the Clairvoyant Jewel at the end.
 
 

 
 

 
 
 

Water Cave

 
 

Heart #6

 
At the top right of the first big room is the a Heart. You will need the treasures located later in this level to reach it though.
 
 

 
 

 
 

Jewel of Ceiling Climbing

 
Drop down this pit and swim to the bottom right of the next area and through the door. Continue along until you reach a room with an old man in the middle. Use double jump to scale the wall on the left wall and the Jewel of Ceiling Climbing will be located to the right.
 
 

 
 

 
 

 
 

 
 

Heart #7

 
Jump back down and head right. The next Heart is at the end of the room.
 
 

 
 

 
 

Jewel of Wall Climbing

 
Head back to the pit you jumped down before and this time head right and climb across the rope. At the far end is the Jewel of Wall Climbing.
 
 

 
 

 
 

 
 

Mermaid’s Jewel

 
Jump down this pit and continue along the path. Head straight down to the bottom and head right. You’ll see the Mermaid’s Jewel just ahead. Head down and traverse the room to reach it.
 
 

 
 

 
 

 
 

Heart #8

 
Head directly to the right of the Mermaid’s Jewel and the Heart will be in the next room.
 
 

 
 

Hidden Room

 
No treasure here, but there is an easily missable room located behind a hidden entrance.
 
 

 
 

Gill Breathing Capability

 
After you defeat the boss she will drop the Gill Breathing Capability.
 
 

 
 
 

Ice Cave

 
 

Heart #9

 
Take the bottom left path and continue along. Jump onto the platform above and jump again off the ice blocks to find the Heart in the hidden room above.
 
 

 
 

 
 

 
 

Iron Snowshoes

 
Continuing along this path jump down the pit and traverse the room below. Then in the next room you’ll find the Iron Snowshoes in the top right.
 
 

 
 

 
 

 
 

Hidden Room

 
Head back to the room located in the first image of this section and this time take the top path. You’ll eventually come across a large room. Jump right from the platform with the door and you’ll land on invisible ice blocks. Continue to the top right of the room to find an easily missable door. The following room has no treasure but is needed for map completion.
 
 

 
 

 
 

 
 

 
 

Heart #10

 
Return to the large room and at the bottom right enter the door and continue through the next one. Continue on until you reach the melting ice path. You need to fall down in the middle of the room, this will take you to another room full of melting ice blocks. The Heart is located in the middle of the ice not far from the bottom.
 
 

 
 

 
 

 
 

 
 

Heart #11

 
Break the ice directly in front of you when you enter this room. The door will lead to yo the Heart.
 
 

 
 

 
 

 
 

Thorn Barrier

 
Defeat the boss and the Thorn Barrier will be located in the next room.
 
 

 
 
 

Ghost Ship

 
 

Heart #12

 
Navigate to the top right of the first room and climb across the rope. Jump over the stairs leading down and over the next pit. Break the bloody wall and the Heart is located behind some enemies.
 
 

 
 

 
 

 
 

 
 

Heart #13

 
Return to the stairs you jumped over earlier. Continue along and drop down into the water. The Heart is located behind a wall at the bottom right.
 
 

 
 

 
 

Water Strider’s Shoes

 
Continue through the water and in the next room head up out of the water and through the door on the left. At the bottom of this room there are two blocks. Pick them both up and the room will floor with water. Now you can swim to the door located in the top left of the room. Continue along this path and the Water Strider’s Shoes will be at the end.
 
 

 
 

 
 

 
 

 
 

 
 

Torch

 
Once you defeat the boss you’ll find the Torch in a room up ahead.
 
 

 
 

Heart #14

 
The last heart for this level is in the next room.
 
 

 
 
 

Gigantic Tree

 
(You will need to use the Axe from the shop navigate through this level)
 
 

Heart #15

 
Drop down this gap and fall all the way down to the ground. Head right until you reach the far end and find the Heart hidden in a cave.
 
 

 
 

 
 

 
 

 
 

Hidden Room

 
Continue climbing up the tree and when you get here make your way to the top right to find a hidden entrance to a missable area.
 
 

 
 

 
 

 
 

Heart #16

 
Climb up the tree again to the next area. Head straight up and you’ll find the next Heart at the top of the branches.
 
 

 
 

 
 

Heart #17

Hidden Room

 
Drop down this pit of quicksand to find a hidden room.

Continue along until you reach this dip in the sand. You can walk inside and find a Heart.
 
 

 
 

 
 

Unlocking the Ruins

 
Keep heading right and pass through this wall and speak to the man inside. He will lift the magic preventing you from reaching the Ruins. Continue heading right to find the entrance.

Shot-Cancel Jewel

 
Ignore the first pit and keep heading to the right and drop down the pit with a rope over it. Head to the right side of the next room and go through the door to find the Shot-Cancel Jewel.

Return to the first pit and drop down. Head right and the next Heart is at the end of the room.

How To Get There

 
Head to Zenimaki’s Mansion and go through the door on the second floor. Then head straight down and you’ll find two altars. Hop onto the Angel alter and drink the Ritual Poison.
 
 

 
 

 
 

 
 

Blue Jewel

 
Go to the top right side of the area and continue to the next one. Go either left or right until you find the cross shaped cloud. Break it to obtain the Blue Jewel. Now use the Map of Return to return to the town.

How To Get There

 
Drink the Ritual Poison on the Reaper altar.
 
 

 
 

Heart #21

 
Right near the start of the level kill the tentacle to break open the wall and climb to the Heart.

Go right over the spikes then drop down and through the door. The next room has six doors. Enter the bottom right one and keep going through all the doors you come across. The last one will take you to the next Heart.
 
 

 
 

 
 

 
 

 
 

 
 

Magic Tome

 
Return to the spiked path from before and this time drop down. Head left and enter the door at the end to find the Magic Tome.

How To Get There

 
Use the Ritual Poison anywhere but on one of the altars. Nothing to see here except a short map needed for 100% completion.
 
 

 
 
 

Within A Dream

 
 

How To Get There

 
When you go to the Inn you’ll have the option to sleep in a room which will allow you to upgrade your stats. At first only the Economy Room will be available. Once you sleep in that room once the next time you return to the Inn the Clean Room will be available. Sleeping in there will cause you to enter a dream world which is a short, linear path with a Heart and stat upgrade item at the end. The same thing occurs for the next three rooms that unlock. All the dream worlds are pretty much a straight line to the end so there’s no need for directions here.

How To Get There

 
Once you have completed the fourth dream world a new quest will appear at the Guild called “Strange Rumors At the Inn”. Accept this quest and the Strange Room will appear at the Inn. Enter the Strange Room and you’ll be sent to the Succubus’ Castle.
 
 

 
 

Jewel of Stun

 
The Jewel of Stun is locked behind a simple puzzle. Pick up the blocks and drop them into the corresponding holes in the floor. It is literally impossible to put the blocks in the wrong hole so you don’t need to worry about messing this up.
 
 

 
 

 
 

Heart #27

 
Below here a a bunch of blocks you have to break to go down and progress. Just to the right after you start going down there is a Heart hidden behind one of the blocks.

How To Get There

 
Return to Gigantic Tree and head to the very top of the map. The dragon boss will appear and carry you to the Sky Castle.
 
 

 
 

 
 

Heart #30

 
Once you reach the big room near the start head to the right and slightly up. Traverse around the terrain and you’ll find the Heart towards the middle of the area.
 
 

 
 

 
 

 
 

 
 

 
 

Excalibur

 
Keep heading right from the Heart and you’ll find Excalibur. You’ll need this to get the Best Ending.
 
 

 
 

 
 

Heart #31

 
Take the top path on the left and in the next room go through the door and the top left corner of the room. The door will take you to a room that has a Heart.

Break the block right above the steps. Head left to find the final Heart.
 
 

 
 

 
 

100% Map Completion

 
In order to get 100% completion of this map you must follow the steps for the Bad or Good Endings so you can enter the last two rooms. I recommend you save the game before defeating the final boss so you can reload to get all three endings.
 
 

 
 

 
 
 

Endings

Bad Ending

 
Destroy the tablet at the end of the level with any weapon but Excalibur. Then continue on to the last two rooms.
 
 

Good Ending

 
Destroy the tablet with any weapon but Excalibur, but instead of continuing on to the exit use the Map of Return to return to town.
 
 

Best Ending

 
Destroy the tablet with Excalibur.
 
 
(You can have Excalibur in your inventory and still get the Bad and Good Endings)
