The weapons

Agripinaa Mk VIII Braced Autogun

The tiny (and the only) autogun. The Agripinaa version of the braced autogun is everything every other autogun lacks.

• Large ammo reserve
• High damage
• Big mag size

It fills a similar niche to the recon guns, but it is not as powerful as the lasguns.

• High stagger
• Good penetration

The gun is imperfect and has two non-trivial flaws worth mentioning.

• No interesting Blessings
• Hipfire only

It is a braced gun, so its blessings mainly focus on suppression and close-range. This sounds good on paper, but every melee unit (except pox walkers are completely immune to the suppression blessings. Fatshark isn’t sure what “close-range” means, but the buff durations of other close-range blessings are often very short.

Braced autoguns can be hipfire with large crosshairs, but only braced guns. They might appear to be very inaccurate. They are perfectly capable at mid-range, and Volley Fire adds an extra level of accuracy to make it even more deadly.

You have the option of a melee weapon.

Agripinaa is a master at dealing with hordes, but you will likely want to keep ammo for elites and specials.

Agripinaa also deals very little damage to the carapace. You will need a melee weapon to fill the gap.

There are only two options that can solve both of these problems: Power Sword or Chainsword. Choose the one that you feel most at ease with.

Ranged units are hard to hit. Rangers can spawn in large numbers on more difficult levels. This makes them difficult to deal with for most cla*ses.

Except for you.

This build allows you to press F to gain 75% ranged resistance, on top of all Volley Fire buffs, and instantly highlights all ranged units currently on the map (except Stalkers). Your ability is reset to 5 seconds after you kill one.

Now, your job is to kill as many ranged units as possible to maintain your ability for 75% damage resistance. Why?

To ensure that your team can absorb as much ranged damage as possible.

All ranged units should fire at you, and not your team. This is why you should always run in the first.

Your team can help you.

Run away from melee units if you are overwhelmed. You can then return to the front to take more ranged damage.
