To farm gold, you need eggs. To farm eggs, you need gold. Queen Sigma is the solution. This method allows you to easily make more than a million dollars per run and requires very little effort.

Introduction

Quick Disclaimer: This isn't the best endgame gold farming method. This won't net 5 million gold per run or anything crazy like that. But, the best endgame gold farming methods require characters with lots of golden eggs. To get those eggs you will need… you guessed it: Gold.

What's the solution? Queen Sigma. Unique character with high base stats, infinitely increasing damage and growth, a powerful weapon, up 5 arcana cards and a unique downside: She can't get any gold eggs.

Queen Sigma, like the alchemists of the past, will allow you transform your base FPS into gold. It will take a while to get used to, but it will pay off in the end.

First, you must have queen sigma unlocked in order for this to work. You must have unlocked all other items first to unlock her, so this is a late game gold farming method. Although a cheat code "spell", is available to unlock her early on, you won't want to skip the entire all at once game.

This guide assumes you have unlocked her legally and have all the items you need (options, arcana card, etc.)

Pre-game setup

First, limit Sigma's active weapons down to 1. You can use more weapons, but I don't believe they are necessary. Her first weapon is sufficient.

Before you can select a map, make sure Hyper mode, Arcanas and Limit Break are enabled.

This farming method can be used on any map.)

Despite this, I recommend The Bone Zone because of its high enemy density and easy accessibility to gold bags that can trigger Disco of Gold's gold rush. Gallo Tower, Inlaid Library are two other excellent maps.

Early game

When you start a game, Sigma will be prompt to choose an Arcana. Pick Wicked Season (XIII) for the first arcana. This Arcana is more powerful than any other, giving you more luck, growth, greed, and curse. We want to stack it as soon as we can. Its double-stat gimmick is also very effective in increasing growth. This will enable Sigma to quickly reach her early levels and unlock her next two Arcanas at levels 2 and 3.

These arcanas are Boogaloo of illusions (XVIII) at Level 2 and Disco of Gold at Level 3. Boogaloo, another stacking Arcana grants +1 area per level. We want to start gaining stacks as soon as possible, as they will become very important later. Our main money maker will be Disco of Gold. Once you have it, you need to immediately start looking for a coin bag that will trigger gold fever. You should keep it going for as long time as possible.

It can be difficult to break lights to obtain coin bags in the early stages of the game. The range of Sigma's Victory Sword is limited and targets nearby enemies, making it difficult to hit a specific light. The solution? The solution? This will set off a retaliatory attack with the sword, breaking down the light. Even if there aren't any lights nearby, it is a good strategy for early game as Sigma. Her armor and health regen are very high, so triggering these retaliatory attacks repeatedly is a good way to increase her damage output early in the game.

Sigma will be able to gain her next arcana when she reaches level 77. Our main focus should now be getting her there. That's when this farming method really excels. This can be done by deliberately avoiding xp until Wicked Season's stat booster cycles back to growth. Then, grab as much xp you can within those 10 seconds. For easier collection, you should let xp gems turn into red gems.

For relics, you'll need the following, but in this order. Remember that Sigma has 108 roll options so you can get whatever item you want whenever you want it. If you don't get it you can always reroll.

1. Crown – Although Sigma has virtually infinite growth, we still want to give this to Crown so she can reach level 77 as soon as possible.

2. Torrona’s Box – generally good. It gives us the 100% curse we want and is the item that will allow us to evolve Sigma’s victory sword. To get the evolution, both the box and the sword must be at their highest levels.

3. Empty Tome = faster attacks = more money = great. This plus her base cd bonus can help Sigma reach -70% CD, which is more than enough.

4. Stone Mask – We are gold farmers, so we want this.

5. Skull O'Maniac: We will have plenty curse even without this, but more is always better, especially in the early game before Wicked Season, when we have had a chance at a lot of stacks, and we might not yet have a fully evolved Torrona's box.

6. You can choose from Spinach, Candelabrador or Duplicator. Spinach is the best choice as it will be useful throughout the entire game. While Candelabrador is helpful in the early game, we will eventually have enough range thanks to Boogaloo so it won't be as useful late game. Duplicator will increase the power of Victory Sword in early game but not alter its evolution or any other damage sources. This means that its overall impact is still quite minor.

Note: You may be tempted by Attractorb as your 6th relic. It has a good synergy to her already high base range. Avoid Attractorb . Picking Attractorb will increase her innate magnet range, so it will grab almost all of the xp gems that drop. This sounds great, but it will cause you to delay collecting xp during the double growth phase. Picking Attractorb will cause a net loss in the late game of around 200 levels. This is a total 100% greed, growth and luck curse from Wicked Season. If you are willing to accept the loss in efficiency and want to make your farm as afk-friendly possible, Attractorb may be a good choice.

Important note about treasure chests First, wait to collect treasure chests during Wicked Season's double greed phase. This does affects the amount of gold that you get from chests. Your high luck will allow you to roll 3x chests and even 5x chests. This can lead to significant increases in gold – 3000-5000 from one chest is not uncommon.

Secondly, and most importantly, once your Victory Sword is fully charged and Torrona’s Box is full, treasure chests starting at the 10 minute mark will have a chance of containing Victory Sword’s evolution, Sole Solutions. No matter what you do, cannot acquire Sole Solution when Wicked Season has entered the double growth phase. Sole Solution's effect is to create an unhealthy "galaxy", which surrounds your character for a few seconds at regular intervals. This effect has a peculiarity: your character is "intangible" during the effect is active. This means that your character can't be damaged but also can't pick up xp after the effect ends. You can still magnetize in xp but it won't be picked up.

Can you see the problem? You can't pick up xp if your character is currently gaining double the amount. Because Sole Solution triggers at regular intervals it will trigger on Every growth phase that follows. too. Although it's not a kill-run, you can still make 1 million+ gold if this happens. However, it can be frustrating and you will likely lose around 200 levels.

Once we reach level 77, our fourth Arcana is selected and the "late-game" phase of our farming process kicks in.

Late Game

Sigma will prompt you to choose a fourth Arcana once you have reached level 77. We will choose Sarabande of Healing VI). Every time we receive healing, this Arcana releases a harmful pulse. Disco of Gold heals when we collect money. This will cause a chain reaction in which killing enemies results in gold being dropped, which then heals us and kills more enemies. Although the healing pulse initially has a limited range, it can be affected by areas. This is why we took Boogaloo earlier. This pulse will eventually reach far beyond the screen's range, hitting enemies as soon as they spawn and quickly killing them.

Your main priorities should be to keep gaining levels and to keep the gold rush going as long as possible. Due to Wicked Season's luck, gold bags should drop quite often, making it easy to maintain a gold rush. You should avoid collecting Orologions (Stopwatches,) if you're playing on a map other than Bone Zone. This will reduce your kill speed and possibly end your gold rush.

Keep in mind that you may have reached the limit on your items and are now earning limit break levels. You can choose "Random Always" as your limit break selection. This choice is not important, we'll still have plenty of power at the end of the run, and it will save us lots of time.

Level 108 will prompt you to choose your final and fifth Arcana. This one is not as crucial as the previous 4. Mad Groove (VII) is my personal favorite. It makes it much easier to collect coins bags and xp, which makes it easier for me to keep gold rushes going and to get lots of levels during Wicked Season's double growth phase. It allows you to easily acquire both rings and metaglios. However, it is not possible to kill their guardians as Sigma cannot gain eggs.

Silent Old Sanctuary (XX) is an alternative to Mad Groove. It will give us a lot more might and cooldown, since we only have one weapon. It may even bring down cooldown to below 100%, but this isn't practical.

You may notice your game slowing down at this point. This is normal. It's a small price for all the gold we make. If you don't like the idea of watching a noisy, seizure-inducing slideshow, you can tab out and only return every 2 minutes until Mad Groove triggers to collect gold and xp. The distinctive "dundun-dun!" sound will let you know when it happens. The sound will play.

If everything goes according to plan, you will be at level 1000 and should have 1.3-1.5million gold by the end of the 30 minutes. You may discover that sigma is so powerful that reapers have difficulty killing you at this point. She can last for up to 2 minutes before reapers stop screaming and finally reach her. This is funny, but it's not very useful. She can exit the run at any point since she doesn't gain anything by killing the reapers.

Conclusion

Your end game screen should look like this after a successful run:

Vampire Survivors - Guide to Gold Farming Tips - Conclusion - 1135A04

Bonus: If you haven't completed the achievement of killing 100,000 enemies as Sigma, you should.

You can rinse and repeat the process as many times as you like, or spend the gold on eggs for other characters. Trouser is technically the best gold farming character, even more than Sigma, but he only has lot of eggs.

Happy farming!
