Valheim – Deathsquito Trap Guide.

The building

 
First you are going to want to build a 1 width by 3 length wooden box that is 2 wooden walls tall. Remove the wall and floor near the door. Leave the walls to the side alone. Make sure their is no ground at one end of the box away from the door. Place a gate on the second floor wall. Have it where its opened like the 2nd picture. Make sure that the side opposite of the gate in the 2nd picture has a wall. With that you are done. 
 
 
 
 
 
 

How it works.

 
Its clunky to use. However allows players to kill Deathsquitos early on in the game. Once there is one chasing you. Run towards the trap and hide behind the door. Try to have it fly into the gate. Try jumping if it flies around the trap. 
 
Once it flies through the open hole into the gate. Close the gate and it will push the Deathsquito into the death compartment. Where the campfire will launch smoke into the compartment. Killing the creature with ease. 
 
 
 
With that remove the campfire or wait for it to burn out to collect the needle.
