Here’s a tip for the lying pumpkin puzzle. 
 
Note: Pumpkins are either lying or telling the truth about both facts: Which direction you should take, and whether their neighbour pumpkin is either truthful or a liar. 
 
There are 6 pumpkins, 5 liars, and only 4 directions. 
 
So if 2 pumpkins tell you to go in the same direction, and we know at least 1 of them is a liar – then we also know that this direction is a lie too. So both pumpkins must be lying. 
 
This cuts down the options for who’s telling the truth by a lot, and you can work our the rest from there 🙂
