There are two ways to achieve the Stanley Parable achievement of "Commitment".
 
 
The first is to let the game run for an entire Tuesday and waste a lot time and electricity. OR You could be smarter and complete it in less than 5 minutes. (DON'T TELL THE DEVS )
 
 
Here's how to gain more time.
 
 
Step 1 – Download Cheat Engine.
 
Do not be afraid of the program's name. We will only use the speed change to accelerate your game, and nothing else.
 
 
Step 2 – Set your system day to any random Tuesday, and ensure that the system time is not close to the end of the working day.
 
 
Step 3 – Open Windows Settings and unplug/disconnect your internet connection.
 
 
Step 4 – Open The Stanley Parable.
 
 
Step 5 – To reduce lag later, set everything to the lowest quality (in the game settings.
 
 

 
 
Step 6 – Open Cheat Engine. Select the game.
 
 

 
 
Step 7 – Start a game of The Stanley Parable.
 
 
Step 8 – Enable speedhack on Cheat Engine and set it to the maximum (your computer can handle. I used 1000x).
 
 

 
 
Step 9 – Wait a while, then disable speedhack. Connect to the internet and check steam for the achievement.
 
If the achievement is still not unlocked, go back to Step 4.
