There’s no other steam walkthroughs for this game that actually tell you what you need to do to put out the candles at the time of writing, so here’s this.

You need to put out all four candles to get the basic success ending “Gone”, and the true ending “The Baby”.

Here’s what you actually need to do to do that.

1. Grandma Ghost

Use the blindfold on her, take the key from around her neck, put out the candle.

2. Cage Ghost

Use the grandma key to unlock the safe in grandma’s room, containing a music box. Use the music box on the cage ghost and put out the candle.

3. Bandana Ghost

Get the cologne and ball from the son’s room on the right and use them both.

4. Hanging Ghost

Put out the candle, then walk to the family portrait near the entrance and the mirror on the right.

After you put all the candles, you can walk into the final room and put out the final candle for the “Gone” ending, or relight all the candles and put out and relight the final candle for “The Baby”, the true ending.
