Some in-game settings that you might want to check out when first starting the game. Some of them might help you play better.
Use the original Tetrimino colours
Settings > Gameplay > Tetrimino Colour >
- Customized (Default)
- Traditional
Very useful for those who relied on peripheral vision and color to recognize pieces. This setting might also reduce distraction on certain levels (i.e. : Flames, Celebration)
This setting also applies to some Multiplayer modes (Zone Battle + Score Attack).
See more in NEXT
Settings > Gameplay > Next queue
- OFF
- 1 (Default)
- 2
- 3
- 4
This allows you to set how many pieces you want to see in the NEXT queue.
(Located at the top-right outside of the well.)
Turn it off along with HUD for immersion, or set to 4 to help with planning your piecement places.
This setting also applies to some Multiplayer modes (Zone Battle + Score Attack).
I highly recommend to go all the way 4 when playing MP.
Caption: Left player uses 3 NEXT, along with traditional colour. Right player uses 1 NEXT, and custom piece colour.
Use emotes in Multiplayer
For keyboard:
1 + arrow keys
For controller:
Right stick.
Use this to express your emotion.

Down | Sweat / Tears |
Left | Heart / Love |
Connected Mode : Help yourself revive faster.
If you ever Top Out during the battle, press the button for rotating the pieces to the beat.
Look at the shrinking circle under your matrix/well to time your presses. You can revive faster if your teammates do a Tetris line clear, or T-spins line clear.
You should hear a clap and your avatar blinks if you do it right.
