Hard mode summoner mob farming 
 
Build a hallowed out pit about 10×10 with platforms above the pit, get any summoner staff then just let your summon kill everything while you watch anime/netflix (Stardust dragon is best) 
 
The wider you make you pit the better if you can make it close to the margins of your screen it works the best and battle potions are your best friend
