Shelter
It may seem rational to board up windows but the helicopter has eyes of a fricking eagle and can see through every one of those little cracks. its better to find a house or cabin that has no windows.
Fire
You may want to just leave the fire and go but chests have set spawn points which means that the chances of having to come back to that burning house are pretty high.
Putting out fires can save you a lot of time and possibly the entire round, fire may seem like just an annoyance but the helicopter can have you pinned for quite a while, which leaves you with two choices: burning to death and losing, or getting shot to death and losing.
My point is, the game gives you tools for a reason.
Ammunition and Distractions
The helicopter can get distracted by explosions which means that if you’re planning on beating you personal best, you’ll need a lot of rockets and pipe bombs. Also, do note that un upgraded rockets have a very big projectile drop, so upgrading is key.
The Map
Knowing the map you’re playing on can help a ton say, you’re playing on Hollowrock perhaps, knowing where a wall is can save both time and the game. Note that pressing tab brings up the map.
BackUp
After getting 15 chests a second helicopter will appear, there is (to me) no way of countering this other then keeping an eye on both of them
High lighting
If the helicopter of behind a wall, a white line will appear in the shape of its current direction, by looking at the high lighted helicopter we can decipher the exact point its looking at giving us a great advantage, however if the heli is pointed away from us or directly at us we will not be able to use this tactic, a way to counter this is to always be looking it when we can, by seeing how it turns we can then know when to move again.
Materials
Tear Down has 13 different materials (most of which are easily able to destroyed by the shot gun or pistol) we can try use these to our advantage. The helicopter’s standard bullets are super strong, being able to break through any wall or roof. I have tried to block the bullets with a metal door but it hasn’t worked, it seems that running and hiding is the only option
End
This is all the things i have found, some may work some may not, i’m pretty new to Tear Down and don’t know much about the game. Sorry for the badly made screen shots and low resolution, my computer isn’t to great.
If you somehow found this under all the others guides thanks for reading it means a lot.
If there’s anything else i should add please tell me.
Again thank you for reading.
