Intro

Hello this is a guide on how to play as TF2 Demoman.

Weapons

This Section will cover the best Weapons to use as the TF2 Demoman.

Summary of the Gun

Fire Rate of Fire (Rff): 18.0

This is important for understanding just how quickly the TF2 Demoman can fire off a shot. We need to know the “Rff” of a weapon because it’s used to calculate damage to the enemy and therefore we need to know the amount of damage that the weapon can do. This is done by dividing the gun’s total Rff (Firing Rate) by its total Ammo.

Rate of Fire (Rff): 18.0

The gun’s Firing Rate is the time taken to fire a single bullet. With the magazine fully loaded, a Demoman can fire 6 bullets per second with a Firing Rate of 18.0. A TF2 Demoman’s Firing Rate will also depend on how many enemies are within that weapon’s firing arc, with the slower magazine loading weapons able to fire more accurately within the arc and therefore giving them the higher vantage point.

Strategies

This section will cover the perfect strategies for the TF2 Demoman.

Why you must learn this!

You may know the TF2 Demoman isn’t the most popular class, but the Demoman can make a difference in any game. If you want to be the best Demoman, you have to know this class and its specialities.

Tier List:

One

This is a good Demoman if you want to ‘basically’ be a Demoman. It’s fast, can take out some enemies, and has some good defensive skills.

Two

This is a good Demoman if you want to be an actual Demoman. It’s strong, good at clearing, and has decent utility skills.

Three

This Demoman is great at protecting his team and can hold his own in most situations. It’s very slow, but is decent for defending.

In the video, we’ll cover all the skills and some tips on how to use them.

The Advance Stuff

How to use the Demoman’s Health Stats

Demoman is a large class, but it’s difficult to use because he’s not a real warrior. To increase his movement speed, you must use the Utilities skill quickly. You will have to use most of your actions on the Command Mark to reduce the size of enemies in order to get him into the best position to use skills.

When it comes to weapon attacks, you can move faster by using the Acceleration skill, which is available for all classes. This can greatly increase your speed in the field.

This class has lots of health. He has three health pools. In the front-most part of his health pool, is a shield. You’ll have to know the moves that take advantage of this shield to heal or deal damage to enemies, like Shadow Step and the Hookshot.

When you want to get in on an enemy, you can use the basic assault move, the Cleanse. You can use this to quickly take out an enemy, like if you want to get behind them and break their armor. but it’s difficult to use because he’s not a real warrior. Do not use the melee attack. The only melee attacks you can use are the staff, the Cuttooth, and the homing Lunge. The Staff and Cuttooth will keep you in a close range and deal plenty of damage. The Lunge, on the other hand, has a higher chance of hitting, but it is a longer range attack.

You can get in close on an enemy by using the Hookshot and using it to stun them for a moment. When you have an enemy held in place, it is more effective to use the Masking or Disarming skill to grab ahold of the enemy. This will allow you to keep attacking, without worrying about getting tackled.

Using the Hookshot is a quick move, but you’ll be left in a bad position if you use it to pull enemies. When you try to use the Hookshot to pull a wall, it will hit the wall instead of the enemy. The hookshot is useful when the Demoman is around a corner and need to make sure he can get away, or when an enemy is out of reach.

You can get your free hands on a soldier to use the Instigator skill. This is a skill that will deal damage, drain health, or knock back an enemy. When you want to use this skill, you’ll need to close to an enemy with the Hookshot and attack them from the back.
