How to get a hat that doesn’t actually exist.
 
 

The Guide

1. Acquire an Unusual Convict Cap. Luckily, they are very cheap and come with some pretty effects.
 
2. Paint the Convict Cap Muskelmannbraun. This is for camouflage reasons.
 
3. Acquire a Mediterranean Mercenary, switch the style to Defiant Dey, and (optional) apply a paint that fits the color of “its” (the Convict Cap’s) unusual effect.
 
4. Since the Mediterranean Mercenary is classified as a misc, it can be worn at the same time as the Convict Cap. The Defiant Dey style covers about 95% of the Convict Cap. The remaining 5% sticks out the back of the head, and is unfortunately striped. The Muskelmannbraun paint on the Convict Cap helps it to blend in a little.
 
5. Ta-da, you now have an “Unusual” Mediterranean Mercenary. Comes with bonus cigarette.
 

 
Yes, people can press H and see the unusual Convict Cap, but hey, it feels cool to run around, looking like you have a hat that isn’t actually possible.
