Hello! I decided to make this guide to explain all the hidden secrets in the latest versions of deathrun maps that either haven’t been found yet or have yet to be properly explained. My goal is to fully cover maps in great detail and how to achieve these hidden secrets.

I’m aware that there is another guide out there that has put in an incredible amount of effort to finding these easter eggs and my goal is to just fill in the gaps that they left. I’ll put the link down below to their guide as I highly recommend checking it out.

I do take requests! If there is a map you want me to look at or something I might have skipped over, feel free to post in the comments. I plan to cover the LATEST version of maps but if there is an alternate version, I can cover that as well if you’d like.

This guide will be a WIP for quite a time but I plan to cover 1-2 maps in full detail every week.

First Easter Egg: Shrink Potion
This one is pretty straight forward. There is a locked door once you exit spawn and head left, to unlock the door you need to continue going forward past the rick roll trap and the trapped floor, you can crouch around the pillar and hit the breakable wall that is holding the key. Once you’ve hit the key start heading back to the door and you should see the lock has been removed. Break open the door and the glass surrounding the potion and pick it up.

Second Easter Egg: Half-Life 3
This is also an easy one. In the advertisement trap or before the mouse cursor ride there is a breakable wall holding a key. Once you’ve grabbed the key make your way through the level like normal until you reach a ramp heading downwards. There is a breakable wall to the right of the ramp.

Third Easter Egg: Secret Minigame
This one is very simple. In the starting area where you spawn there is an invisible button on the right side of the keyboard. There is no signal if you’ve hit the button or not so make sure to swing a few times. An easy way of finding the button is walking next to the keyboard until you hit a invisible wall, crouch down and hit the area in front of you. Once you’ve done that head further in until you come across a bridge, it should be right before the 50/50 doors. There is a breakable triangle floor on the ground. Break it and grab the key and the minigame will be unlocked. Finish to the end and the maze will be unlocked.

Fourth Easter Egg: H*ntai Museum
This Easter Egg is by far the most complicated one. Once the round starts if a player passes the 50/50 doors without first collecting the 2 keys before it you will be unable to break a certain wall needed to progress. The 2 keys you need are right past the locked door behind a breakable wall and another breakable wall that is right next to the trapped floor where you got the key to unlock the door in the Shrink Potion Easter Egg. Once you’ve collected the 2 keys, head past the 50/50 door and directly to the right will be a breakable wall that leads into a small room. Warning! This room requires a player to step inside and sacrifice themselves in order to get the key. Once you’ve collected the key from inside the room you have 15 seconds to get to an invisible teleporter that is on the mouse cursor ride. The invisible teleporter is on the first corner that the ride takes, it’s quite a large area so it shouldn’t be too hard to miss. 15 seconds is not a lot of time for this and it can be quite difficult. If you have made it to the teleporter in time and you didn’t die falling off welcome to the museum, enjoy 😉

Unfinished Easter Egg: Teleporters?
This one is quite.. weird. From my tests I have been unsuccessful in activating a teleporter that should be activated once you enter a certain room. Once you are teleported inside the room you take near infinite damage and you can’t move. I have been able to remove the damage but I can’t seem to understand the last teleporter needed to leave. I’ll explain what I’ve found out anyhow.
First, this one is timed because when the mouse cursor reaches a certain point the room you teleport into will kill you. You need to grab the first key next to the locked door at the start to disable an invisible wall. Once you’ve grabbed it head over to the DVD player and hit the aux cable plug-in, there is a invisible button that activates a teleporter. Head to the mouse cursor ride and before getting on drop off on the side hugging the wall and you should be teleported into a room. If you died you either missed the teleporter or didn’t hit the button on the DVD player. Once you’ve teleported, that’s it. It should teleport you back at the mouse cursor ride but it seems it’s not connected properly and you are stuck inside the room until a certain point where you will instantly die.
