Introduction

As if the DLC practices of Arise weren’t bad enough, did you know that the costumes come with additional titles and thus extra skills! Its true! Because nowhere on the internet seemed to list out what you get, I bit the bullet and dropped the $30(!!!) dollars to buy all the costumes with skills. Hopefully that will let you buy only the ones you really want, or be stronger willed than I and just ignore them entirely. 2021 AAA Publishing at its finest!
 
 
This guide will list the skills they provide as I unlock characters through the story.
 
 
 

Iron Mask / Alphen

Warring Triad Costume Set
 
Title: Veteran Samurai
 
Completion Bonus: Attack +50
 
 

• Orochi’s Galeforce Fury (Free) – Arcane Arte (Ground Attack, AG2, Sword Strike): A hidden arte that opens with a flurry of slashes while stepping forward, before whipping up a tornado.
• Increased Attack/Elemental Attack When Full (1000 SP) – Increases attack and elemental attack strength while the effects from cooking are active.
• KO Prevention (1200 SP) – You’ve probably seen this before.
• Increased Attack/Elemental Attack When Surrounded (1000 SP) – Increases attack and elemental attack strength based on the number of enemies targeting you.
• Increased Near-Death Attack/Elemental Attack (500SP) – Increases attack and elemental attack strength when near death.

Completion Bonus: Elemental Attack +50
 
 

• Howling Azure Storm (Free) – Arcane Arte (Ground Attack, AG2, Sword Strike, Water Aspect): A hidden arte that fires off a pair of water blades for a two-hit attack
• 2x Strengthened Counter Edge (500, 1000 SP each) – Increases the damage inflicted from using Counter-Edge.
• 2x Increased Ailment Bonus Damage (1000 SP each) – Increases the amount of damage dealt to enemies with physical ailments.

 
School Set
 
Title: Straight Laced Schoolboy
 
Completion Bonus: Defense +50
 
 

• Plasma Shock (Free) – Arcane Arte (Ground Attack knockup, AG2, Sword Strike, Lightning Aspect): A hidden arte that kicks the enemy up into the air before shoving them back down and striking them with lightening.
• 2x Increased Boost Gauge from Enemy Defeats (1000 SP each) – Increases the amount of boost gauge added upon defeating an enemy.
• 10 hit boost gauge increase (1000 SP) – Raises the boost gauge every 10 hits during a combo.
• Increased BG at battle start (500 SP) – Increases the boost gauge when a battle begins.

• Cyan Instant (Free) – Arcane Arte (Ground Attack, AG2, Gun Strike, Wind Aspect): A hidden arte that sends Shionne spinning as she rains wind bullets on the battlefield in every direction.
• 2x Increased Attack/Elemental Attack When Full (500, 1000 SP each) – Increases attack and elemental attack strength while the effects from cooking are active.
• 2x CP Restoration When Full (1500 SP each) – Restores CP At the end of battle while the effects from cooking are active.

Title: Seaside Queen
 
Completion Bonus: Penetration +50 (lol, also omgwtf how much?)
 
 

• Ice Tornado (Free) – Arcane Arte (Arte, AG3, Astral Arte water/ice aspect): An Intermediate water art that spins up a vicious tornado composed of snow and ice.
• 2x Increased Ailment Rate (500, 1000 SP each) – Makes it easier to inflict physical ailments on enemies
• 2x Increased Ailment Bonus Damage (1000 SP each) – Increases the amount of damage dealt to enemies with physical ailments.

(Love the massive synergy here that you only get if you pay for both the male and female beach sets.)

Title: New Girl in Class
 
Completion Bonus: Elemental Defense +50
 
 

• Ray (Free) – Arcane Arte (Arte, AG3, Astral Arte light aspect): An Intermediate light art that unleashes scores of light beams from the heavens.
• 2x Increased Boost Gauge from Enemy Defeats (50,1000 SP each) – Increases the amount of boost gauge added upon defeating an enemy.
• 2x 10 hit boost gauge increase (1000 SP each) – Raises the boost gauge every 10 hits during a combo.

• Gusty Nail (Free) – Arcane Arte (Arte, AG3, Casted Arte wind aspect): An Intermediate wind art that rips enemies apart with fierce claws made of wind.
• 2x Increased Down Damage (500, 1000 SP each) – Increases amount of damage dealt to enemies that have been downed.
• Increased Weakpoint Damage (1000 SP each) – Increases the amount of damage done to enemy weakpoints.
• Increased mid-air Damage (1000 SP each) – Increases the amount of damage dealt to enemies in mid-air. Also applies to floating enemies.

• Arrow Squall (Free) – Arcane Arte (Arte, AG3, casted Arte water aspect): An Intermediate water art that shoots streams of water like a bow.
• 2x Increased Critical Damage (1000 SP each)
• KO Prevention (1000 SP)
• Reduced Arte Casting Time During Combos (800 SP) – Reduces the amount of time it takes to cast a spell when performed as part of a combo. Bigger combos reduce the time more than smaller ones.

Title: Vivacious schoolgirl

• Divine Streak (Free) – Arcane Arte (Arte, AG4, Casted Arte, light aspect): An Advanced Light Arte that fires a large beam of light for an extended period of time.
• 3x 10 hit boost gauge increase (1000 SP each) – Raises the boost gauge every 10 hits during a combo.
• Reduced Arte Casting Time During Combos (800 SP) – Reduces the amount of time it takes to cast a spell when performed as part of a combo. Bigger combos reduce the time more than smaller ones.
