Welcome to (Sword of Wonder: It’s Good to be a King – Full Walkthrough & Tips) This manual is a helpful resource that you can refer to if you run into problems while playing the game or need direction.

Introduction and Basics

This game will require you to use your keyboard and/or mouse. The controller configuration can be found on the menu screen under “Help”. To open the menu, right-click anywhere on your screen.

There are many options that you will encounter throughout the game. Make sure to save your progress in new slot games as you make your way through them.

Mouse-over Objects & Quest Tracking

There will be screens where you need to click on something to continue. Sometimes there are multiple areas you need to click. Ensure you’re looking for highlighted areas when your mouse hovers over them.

You may need to click beyond the dialogue box in some regions before the items are highlighted with your mouse. Before looking for clues, make sure you have clicked past the dialogue.

You should be able to access your open quest log by the game. To do this, you just need to press the “Q” button on your keyboard. Your choices can unlock these side quests, so it’s worth exploring all the options available to you, even if they seem a little silly.

Tips

Did you ever get so focused on the task that you missed a question? You can always hit the back button at the bottom of screen to see any questions you may have missed.

Although the mini-games can be completed, you can unlock scenes by completing them. They are fairly straightforward… I don’t think a 3-match concentration game with cards that is timed should require me to explain it, as the characters go through the rules thoroughly.

Although the Chicken mini-game is easier to understand, it can be more difficult to master. You must click the mouse to kill four chickens. You can click anywhere you like on the knife but you must wait for the chicken to be in place before clicking. The knife remains stationary while the chickens scroll across your screen.

You can check your progress by clicking on the Scene Replay option in the menu. The goal is to unlock them all.

Side quests that unlock scenes can be made easier by your choices. Keep track of side quests using the Q button. Make the best decisions with the people you meet on the way to unlock them.
