Introduction

If you are tired of having to open different launchers to play your games, and instead want to reach everything from the same place, then this guide will help you. I prefer being able to reach everything from Steam since it is the client I use the most, and this guide will show you how to do that.

How To Add The Game

To add the non-Steam game you want to add to your Steam library you have to be logged into the Steam client. Then go to your Steam library.

When you are there, go to the bottom left corner, and click on “Add game”. A little window will pop up above the button, and there you click “Add non-Steam game”.

Another window will pop up in the middle of your screen. Look for your desired game in the list. If it is there, click on the box to the left of it, and then click “Add chosen games”.
If it is not in that list, you have to click “Browse” and find the launch file for that game on your hard drive, and add that manually. After that, just click “Add chosen games”.

When you have done that, the game will be in your Steam library, and you can launch it from there.

Closing Notes

Most games can be launched from your Steam library even if they are non-Steam games, but there are a few exceptions.
I hope you found this guide helpful!
