Installing your modified installation

Backup your saved data

It is a good idea to backup of your saved data prior to installing mod packs. The entire Starbound save data (including worlds, ships and characters) is stored in the storage folder. It is usually located in:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Starbound

Copy this folder/directory to a secure place!

Cleaning your installation

(Only applies if you have played using mods that are not part of Multiverstar Modded’s mod pack – [steamcommunity.com(Only applies if you played using the mod pack not from

before.)

 

1. Go to Your Files and then Subscribed items on the page’s right side!

   

2. (Optional step) Back up the list of mods in some way to ensure you have it for later! You can do this by making an array of them, placing them in your top ten lists or writing them down. Specific instructions are not within the scope of this guide.
3. Click on Unsubscribe From All on the right-hand side of the page!

   

 

• Go to Multiverstar Modified mod pack -[steamcommunity.com[steamcommunity.com]

• Click on + Subscribe to all!

  

• Wait for Steam to download and install the mods!

 

Connecting to the server

A mismatch in assets is possible.

You must ensure that Allow assets mismatch is enabled in the game’s Options menu.

Joining the game

1. Click on the Join game link in the main menu
2. Select or create a character
3. Fill in the Server info window as shown on the right
4. Click on the Join server link.
