How to get this amazing game to run if you happen to get screwed over by antivirus/failed to find steam
 
 

Input CD error

Let me guess, you launched the game up and got an error or menu to input your CD? yeah the Launcher is bricked, don’t use it. to play this game you’re going to want to navigate to your game files (either by viewing local files or manually going through them) and then find the .exe file, it might be in the game folder but if it isn’t it will be in the system folder (Just search up exe in the game folder search and then open the exe files original file location) try launching it if you want, but most antiviruses don’t like this game. exempt the exe file from your AV’s auto scan, and then try launching it. if this does not work, Turn off your AV’s entire auto scan for the duration that you play the game, if the exe still refuses to launch after the AV has been dealt with, refer to the next section.
 
 
 

Failed to find Steam Error

If your game gives you a “Failed to Find Steam” error, go to your main Steam folder, and find the Steam.dll file, copy it, and then paste it IN THE SAME FOLDER as the exe is in, and don’t try to move the exe file from the original location, if it is in the game folder, paste it in the game folder, and if it is in the system folder, paste it in the system folder. this should work and get your game to run, happy hunting.
