Intro

This guide will show you how to use Obi-Wan Kenobi, including the star cards that I recommend, abilities, and general play style

Star Card 1

The first star card, and the first unlocked star card is Jedi resilience, with this card Obi-Wan gets huge health regen, at max this card gives Obi 400 health regen, allowing him to get down to half health and regenerate all of his health.

Star Card 2

The second star card recommended is Perfect Defense, which increases Obi-Wan’s blocking stamina. At max level, this card increases the blocking stamina of Obi-Wan from being able to take 2121 damage, up to 2969.4, with this blocking stamina you can block up to 22 saber hits.

Star Card 3

The third card I recommend is Safeguard, since Obi-Wan is a pretty defensive hero, I like to get as much blocking stamina as possible, allowing more blaster deflections, and more saber swings. This card builds up really fast in GA or supremacy, and takes a little bit longer in hero modes, but the increased defensive stamina is 100% worth it. With this card and the previous card at max and the stamina gains at max, Obi-Wan gains a ridiculous 3817.8 damage blocking stamina, allowing him to almost infinitely deflect blasters and saber hits. This card also increases his saber swings from 10 to 14 at max.

Alternative Star Card

The only other Obi-Wan card I suggest you use is Forward! With this card on Obi-Wan can one hit kill any trooper class with 180 health or less, without this card Obi cannot one hit kill any trooper class with the hit of his defensive rush. If you’re gonna use this card, you can replace any of the two blocking stamina increasing cards, but I’d recommend taking off Safeguard so you don’t have to build up your blocking stamina

Star Card To Avoid

Critical deflection is pretty much useless, as the deflections of blaster shots on Obi-Wan’s defensive rush is pretty random, and don’t go where you’re aiming at. There’s literally no reason to run this card.

Abilities

The first ability is Obi’s All-Out Push, uncharged, you can kill specialists, assaults, and officers, this attack deals 170 to troopers, and 150 to heroes. Fully charged, the push deals 200 damage, killing all previously listed troopers, as well as heavies, jet troopers, and rocket troopers. Fully charged, it deals 180 damage to heroes. This ability is best for clearing out medium to large sized groups of enemies in front of objectives.

Obi-Wan’s second ability, the restrictive mind trick, takes out enemies abilities for 5 and a half seconds, and the area of effect is 20 meters. This ability, similar to the all out push is best used to take out troopers abilities in front of objectives. It is best used against heroes to take out their abilities for a short period of time.

The final ability, Obi-Wan’s defensive rush, deflects blaster shots, as well as dealing damage to anyone that Obi-Wan runs into, except heroes if they’re blocking, you’ll need to get behind heroes to hit them if they have a saber and they’re blocking to hit them. You may be able to deflect some blaster shots into troopers to kill them in one hit if they’re at max, but most likely they won’t be at full health, and you’ll kill them instantly. This ability is best used to move quickly down a hallway with enemies in it, most likely killing them and taking little damage while you’re doing it.

Play Style

Obi-Wan is the defensive Jedi, with his two blocking stamina cards, you can pretty much play like the Jedi in the Clone Wars, staying in front of your team and close to them, deflecting blasters back into the enemies, as well as swinging your saber at enemies close to you as you move closer to your objectives. Against heroes, you can literally just block their blasters, sabers, abilities, until they have no stamina and then attack, or if you’re decent at parrying, Obi is the best hero for parries.

If i’m playing a hero mode, I like to build his stamina with Safeguard first, blocking all saber hits, and blasters, then attack and parry, with Safeguard on you can attack 14 times instead of 10, if your card is at max level. Use your mind trick to take out any offensive abilities the villains have, and then defensive rush behind them to deal a decent 140 damage.

Obi is the most survivable hero, as his defense and health regen is really good. Staying alive for a while with him with the recommended cards shouldn’t be that hard, you can always just block and back around a corner to regen health, and most of the time you will regain all 750 health
