Squad – How To Optimize Game Settings and Increase FPS

Squad’s performance has always been bad for what it is. Although Squad has suffered even more from de-optimization since V1, particularly on systems with AMD components. The devs have remained silent on this. Additionally, the game generally suffers from being made by an amateur studio. 
 
It seems that computers in the limbo between mid tier and high tier are impacted the hardest from Squad’s poor optimization. The reason could either be because Offworld is just a bad studio or because of de-optimization targeted at specific hardware. 
 
If your system exceeds the games recommended specs and you can run comparable games at a better FPS like Tarkov, then its not you, its the game. Don’t listen to people that say things like “your CPU is the problem”.

I have a RTX 2070, AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Eight Core Processor, 16GB RAM, and a 1440p monitor.
