Hey there, welcome to this post, This SpiderHeck – Versus Battle Settings Game Modes Guide was written to be of use to you, and it is our honest hope that you will find that to be the case.
A gallery of Gladiatorial feats that will make you feel like Arachking. Updated regularly, for both my reference and yours.
Versus Battle Settings
So, we’re setting a Versus Battle up and are presented with three changeable settings as well as 3 additional sub-categories. There’s a lot of options to play with, how do we go about it?
Defaults
These are your default settings for all game modes.
The default option for your Lobby Type can be Public.
Depending on the length of your game and your current map collection, you may be able to set your Winning Score as a default.
The 1-10 can be followed by increments between 5 and 100.
If you would like to do a gauntlet on every map, for example the number you are looking for is 35.
The Death Zone invades the Normal on one, multiple or both sides.
It can go Fast or Fastest. Or it can remain in its starting position Static .
I default to Static unless there is a game mode that requires something else.
The further down the menu we go, its contents will shift from Defaults into Game Mode Dependencies.
Map Pool
There are 35 different maps. You will have your current Map Pool based on the maps you select when you start a match. You can set all 35 maps to default, blacklist the ones you don’t enjoy, or create an exclusive pool for a specific game mode.
Weapon Weight
There are 23 different weapons that you can assign a weight to. The range is 1 – 5. This will only change the weapon’s chance to be selected during a spawn. It won’t affect the spawn rates.
Blades & spears often spawn here (5). Grenades, basic weapons and better blades occasionally spawn (3). Most other items spawn rarely, (1).
Modifiers
There are 18 gameplay mutators. Each is a stronger variant of Plus+.
This section has the most power to alter the overall experience.
Some of these will be defaultable but most of them will be specific to the game mode.
Making a Gamemode
It’s as simple as jotting down a few settings you can use to customize your experience.
As there is no way to save settings in-game, this guide will also serve to be my personal library. It’s easy to access via steams overlay. Please feel free to use them as inspiration for your game modes.
You are welcome to create your own guide, or post them in the comments. You can either create your own guide or leave them here in the comments. If you’d like to feature your game mode, and I match my formatting, please let me know.

You’re more agile, faster and stronger with powerful weapons that have a lot more ammo. This has become my default game because of its tighter movement & stuntability.
Combining the Static Death zone & Insulation+ with Bigger Booms & Blades, death zone kills are more about your ability than punishment for a slight sloppy move.
