Where to find The Modern axe?

You can find the Modern Axe between the three blimping locations shown on your GPS, approximately in the middle of the ones closer to the winter location and near two caves, as shown in the picture. Inside a body, in a few tents, is where you’ll find the Modern Axe. It takes about 15 seconds, gives or take, to obtain this item from the spawn location. However, you should be aware that there are cannibals in the area quite often. The Modern Axe is a cumbersome weapon that deals increased damage but moves more slowly than other axes when used to attack adversaries or trees.
