One of the most significant issues, when you start to play the game if you didn’t check already the controls via settings, is to drop the items you hold.

 

How to drop the items you are holding?

One of the ways I used to start before I learned the controls was by pressing the I (Inventory) button, and when the Inventory was open, all the items I held in my hand were dropped.

The other way to drop the items from your hand is by pressing the G key. This way, you can drop the items where you want
