The Starlight Strand has a secret Ringtail Slime. It is easy to access and requires no upgrades once you warp in.

Unlock the Starlight Strand

To unlock the Starlight Strand you will need to feed Cotton Gordo at Rainbow Fields. This will require 30 vegetables of all types. It prefers Water Lettuce, and each one will be worth two regular vegetables if it is fed. Carrots can be found wild in the Rainbow Fields, and there is a small area of Water Lettuce behind the Gordo.

Finding the Ringtail Alter

Once you enter the Starlight Strand, follow the “blue” side until you reach an area that has a temple with closed doors.

Follow the opening to the left. As you descend the slope, turn right to see “Rightail Alter.”

Enjoy your Ringtail Slime

It is not guaranteed. However, it will most often be during the day. A single Ringtail Slime (in statue form) will be there for you. You can either carry it with your vac or wait for it to turn into a slime again at night. Then, store it in your tank.

Sometimes, more than one spawns if you’re in the area for a while.

If one does not spawn within the area, you can hang around for a while or come back later.
