This guide should show you all of the missable achievements and how to obtain them. Enjoy. Also lot of things are gonna be marked as spoilers. Why? In case people only want to check out which missable achievements are in which case/where without getting the solution given away to them.

Missable achievements related to story cases

Poor Sportsmanship
 
 
When you are trying to find out who the cane belongs to, go ask the receptionist about it and you should get the achievement.
 
 
Walls have ears
 
 
Not exactly a missable achievement BUT during the case Ghosts of the past you get your first oppurtunity to obtain it and probably it is the best to get it out of the way right away so you can focus on other ones. You get the oppurtunity to eavesdrop on two hotel-maids who stand in front of room 226. Eavesdropping can fail when dismissing too many correct statements, so making a manual save beforehand is advised.
 
The easiest way is actually to swipe up all statements, so all correct ones are selected.
 
 
Mamma Mia!
 
 
While playing the case “The Master of Disguise“, you will enter Mrs. Nini’s shop and are introduced to the concept of disguises. In order to get this achievment you need to check the painted portrait of a man with a top-hat in the back room, next to where Jon is standing and dress up as the man.
 
Top Hat, Old Man Make-Up, Long Sideburns, Ugly Beige Suit (or White Suit)
 
 
Everyone’s a Critic
 
 
You need to collect 3 books during the case Gilded cage.
 
First book is in Gilden’s room.
 
 

 

 
 
Second book is inside a storage room of the book workshop.
 
 

 

 
 
Third book is situated at three tents on the left when you are going downhill to check out the dig site.
 
 

 

 
 
Animal Advocate
 
 
It is quite self-explanatory yet missable. To get this achievement at the end of the Gilded Cage case choose the option Save Goliath.
 
 
Perfect Gentleman
 
 
During the case The Muse From Abroad once you are done with Mercucio’s apartment and go talk to Jon again, he gives u a challenge about not telling the landlady that Mercucio is dead. So in order to get the achievement use the dialogue options when talking to her: “Who entered my flat recently?” and “Call the Police to my flat.”
 
 
Voice of The people
 
 
This achievement has 2 parts. Both parts are in case The Muse From Abroad. One takes part in the refugee camp.
 
what to prompt first: You need to tend to the wounded refugee next to the “5” marker and complete Jon’s Challenge.
 
What do you need to do after prompting it: In order to aid the wounded, start tracking the objective called Wounded refugee. Get some clothes off the line, some of the boiling water from the large pot and some Aloe Vera that is on the ground to the right from the corpse in the pier.Then just keep following the objective and preform a chemical analysis in your case book
 
For the second part of this achievement: At the end of the case (PLEASE SAVE, achievement can have problems with unlocking+ you may want to experience different outcomes) Giving the photo to The Envoy, Thomas Norton, unlocks the achievement
 
 
Short temper
 
 
This achievement has once again 2 parts and is from case The Muse From Abroad.
 
first part: When you are drawing the character portrait of the Envoy choose Partygoer -> this will allow you to punch him in the face so do that.
 
second part: Before you go to confront Bernadoti put on your Detective Clothes (default outfit) and then when talking to the guard at the entrance choose “I’m a private investigator” -> “Hit him”
 
And that should grant you the achievement .
 
 
Not now
 
 
After completing “The Muse From Abroad” and returning to Stonewood Manor, you’ll encounter an agent of your brother Mycroft, who wants to inform about a new case. In order to get this achievement say “I’m busy”. It won’t have any consequences, as you can talk to him again immediately and still take the case and should because there are 2 missable achievements tied to it. Do not do the case yet or at least look into the missable achievements in other cases section of this guide since it does have two of them. Now back to the main case achievements again.
 
 
Rumor Has It..
 
 
While still in Manchio’s Mansion, after finding out why you were invited, Jon issues a challenge for this missable achievement. To fulfill the condition, we need to eavesdrop on two conversations of the rich and powerful.
 
 
First one:Can be found in small room on the left side of the foyer.
 
The correct words are: Cheating groom, Offended duchess, Fired after incident, Political crisis.
 
 
Second one: Can be found on the right side of the entryway, out in the foyer.
 
The correct words are: Magic circle, Occultist architect, Mysterious disappearance.
 
The trophy should unlock immediately after this.
 
 
Vengeance of The Lamb
 
 
To achieve the missable achievement you must select the death penalty for the person you think is guilty.
 
I picked Kurt when the achievement popped. The other two may also work but Kurt is who I tested and confirmed to work for the trophy so you can pick him to be safe (pick him via Mind Palace, then say to him “A sexual predator” -> “It was premeditated murder”).
 
 
And this concludes it for the main missable story achievementes. After grabbing the file as a thanks please stop doing the rest of the Mothers love quest (precisely: Once you proceed into the Garden there is no point of return so save before that) because you would get to the point of no return later on so save right now or well at the more precise part that is marked as spoiler text and let us move on to the rest of the missable achievements.
 
 
 

Missable achievements during other cases/quests

Catch of the day
 
 
This is earned by entering the correct warehouse in the case Eel hunting. It is Warehouse No. 2. It doesn’t matter if you kill or arrest Friedrich Panzer. Return to the quest giver afterward and the achievement will unlock. Going to the wrong warehouse would still complete the quest but wouldn’t unlock the achievement.
 
 
Read it and weep
 
 
During the case The Missing Shopkeeper, after finding the clues in one of the cells (corpse of Angelo etc.), pin the objective “Bandit’s Lair” and head over to the other cell (to the immediate right after leaving the cell with Angelo’s body). In there, inspect the mattress, then use concentration mode on the mattress to see a bloody footprint and loose tile on the ground. Interact with the tile to find the hidden red book underneath it, called “Crime and Punishment”. This unlocks the achievement right away.
 
 
Not His Toy
 
 
During the Love, death and Cordona accusing the right man and arresting him gives you the achievement.
 
The killer is the man standing at the main gate and his correct character portrait is
 
“On Edge”
 
Pick the following dialogues: Confront Him > Accuse
 
MUST PICK THE 3 CORRECT ACCUSATIONS: Victim Profile, Meeting Gone Wrong, Jailan’s Letter. Then pick “I have to arrest you”.
 
 
Guilty!
 
 
Picking the 3 correct accusations during the Love, Death and Cordona case counts towards Guilty!. For that achievement you must also pick the correct Accusations in Side Cases “Blindsided” & “Iron Coffin“, so if you haven’t done those it won’t unlock the achievement yet. (note before doing the Blindsided case and the Iron Coffin case there are few more achievements we will get to that you need to do during them so read on that too in this guide)
 
The correct accusations for the 2 other cases are:
 
Iron Coffin: Augusta did it and you MUST PICK THE 3 CORRECT ACCUSATIONS: Business Affairs, Letter to Felicia, Lawyer’s Letter. Then say “You are guilty”.
 
Blindsided:Magda did it so accuse her and PICK THE 3 CORRECT ACCUSATIONS: Missing Guncase, Duel in the Ruins, Letter to Mr. Boddington. BUT DO NOT ARREST
 
 
Lawful Neutral
 
 
For this achievement you must interrogate all suspects in the Iron Coffin case while wearing the Police Uniform, and do not tell them you’re not a cop (Basilio, Augusta, Billy, Felicia). So keep the uniform equipped throughout the case.
 
 
Friends in Low Places
 
 
During the case Iron Coffin, BEFORE heading into the Backyard Boys Hideout, eavesdrop on the two gang members in front of the entrance.
 
The correct words to filter out are: Marketplace in Miner’s End, Beggar Informants, Limping brass.
 
We learn that there’s a guy called Pipe at Miner’s Market. Track objective “Thinning the Ranks” and go to Miner’s Market in the center of Miner’s End.
 
BEFORE talking to Pipe, you must put on beggar clothes to get the achievement. If you have the wrong outfit the objective will fail and the achievement will be missed!
 
 
The outfit: Clothing = Vagabond Rags
 
Head = Eye Bandage
 
Accessory = None (default)
 
Facial Hair = Designer Stubble
 
Makeup = Black Eye Make-Up
 
After getting the outfit, go talk to Pipe. Say to him “There is no attack (Easy)” and the Friends in Low Places achievement should unlock after the conversation.
 
Be sure you got the Police Uniform equipped after that again to get the achievement Lawful Neutral!
 
 
Join The Club
 
 
For this you must follow the rules of the blind dueling club to complete Jon’s optional challenge “The True Blind Duellist” during the Blindsided case (don’t mention the club to anyone, never miss a chance to practice shooting skills, do not kill anyone at the shooting club).
 
 
For the first requirement: you cannot mention the club to the undertaker! Pick dialogues: “Let’s get to the point” (DO NOT SAY “Heard of the Duelling Club?”) -> Provide Evidence -> Duel in the Ruins.
 
 
For the second requirement: Inside the Von Staub residence head through the door to the right of the piano. Turn right again, before heading upstairs, to see Jon finger-shooting some vases. Shoot all of the vases (5 total).
 
 
For the third requirement: When you get attacked by some duellists after heading through the basement door inside the Blind Duelling Club, ARREST THEM, do NOT kill them! This fulfills the 3rd rule of the Blind Duelling Club to never shed blood.
 
The achievement will unlock immediately after that if you fulfilled all the requirements.
 
 
Open eyes
 
 
Spare Magda during the Blindsided case (say: You are free)
 
 
Well Earned Rest
 
 
During the case Plan Bee, at the apiary talk to the man uphill in front of the building. You must then observe him. Identify him as Placido, the chief inspector to get his follow-up dialoges for the achievement.
 
Pick the dialogues “You Killed Him” > “I’ll consider your request”.
 
Now head back to the police station and tell Sergeant Stark that Placido is dead
 
After that you should have the achievement.
 
 
Curse correction
 
 
During the case Siren Song, with the barkeeper select the dialogue “Three people are dead?”. You can simply talk to him again if you didn’t pick it the first time. This gives the optional objective “Another Dead Sailor”. Completing this unlocks the achievement. Do this now before advancing with other objectives. Head to Giant Sparrow Club in Scaladio.Talk to the police officer at the crime scene, then interact with the corpse for 4 clues. Talk to the police officer again after and the achievement will unlock!
 
 
Hocus-Pocus
 
 
During the Street Magic case, after you interact with the 4 items at the destroyed fortune tellers stall ,equip the Magician’s hat. After following the tracks to find the fortune-teller’s kid, you will unlock this achievement when talking to him in that hat.
 
 
Childs Play
 
 
Upon completing the story-related case “The Master of Disguise“, you can take cases from the bulletin board inside the Police Station.

Missable achievements during other cases/quests pt.2 + other ones

Lore Almighty
 
 
Complete all Cordona Stories. Cordona stories can be revealed by coming close to certain Points of Interest. They are very short cases, most of them not take up more than 10 minutes. The Treasure Hunts also count as Cordona Stories and i will make a guide for those in future.
 
 
Gold Digger
 
 
There is a street crier on the square near City Hall who issues a total of three treasure hunts we have to complete. Each one requires us to find eight spots all over Cordona with just a single picture as a clue. I will make a guide for those in future
 
 
Daredevil
 
 
Fight in all of the bandit lairs.

Not up to snuff
 
 
Disorient ten enemies with the snuffbox.
 
The Snuffbox is a weapon for close combat, which is thrown on the ground to disorient enemies and enabling an arrest if no other environmental (yellow) destructible object is around. It takes some time to recharge, but getting a total of ten should be easily doable when playing your second Bandit Lair (or repeating the first).
 
 
Citizen’s Arrest
 
 
Arrest 5 enemies.

Arrest 25 enemies
 
It is easiest done while playing the Bandit Lairs. Use the yellow highlighted objects or the snuffbox to start a short timeframe in which you can arrest someone.
 
Enemies with armor (indicated in blue) need to be stripped off their protection first before being eligible for arresting.
 
If you accidentally kill someone, it doesn’t matter but will count towards the other achievements.
 
Both Arrests and Kills only count upon completing the Bandit Lair. Failing or Reloading won’t work. All respective achievements can be done by replaying the same Lair several times in a row.
 
 
Finger Slipped
 
 
Kill five enemies. Best to do in Bandit Lairs
 
 
Blood on Your Hands
 
 
Kill 25 enemies. Best to do in Bandit Lairs.
 
 
The Tale of The Empty House
 
 
For this trophy, you need to complete side case “The Tale of the Empty House“. It requires you to buy all pieces of furniture from different shops on the map. Some of them exist several times and sell the same inventory. Buying all objects costs a grand total of 645 Currency. Not all items are available from the start. They unlock gradually by playing the main story.
