Welcome to Rivals of Aether – How to Play Workshop Casual guide.

This guide tells you how to play on casual workshop mode, including downloadable characters.

Download Characters

If you have only 3 characters, no one will play with them. I recommend downloading a ” Competitive roster” to help you get more casual players.

Here are some collections that I recommend:

Universal Collision – [steamcommunity.com]

(This one is a bit more complicated, but has many characters).

WElites Roster – [steamcommunity.com]

(I recommend it the most because it has a lot more characters)

Fungal Wastes – [steamcommunity.com]

Elites with less bloat

Cheapies

It is important to note that if you have characters like Ronald McDonald, 100% characters or characters that are op installed, there is a possibility that someone will play them on your behalf. I recommend that you uninstall those characters before queuing.

Find the right person to play with

You have approximately 30 seconds to choose a character. Always have a second choice in case someone doesn’t have your characters. Before you go online, I recommend that you playtest your characters in training mode. You can also look at the character’s description (if it has one).
