Ricochet – How to Select the Unused Female Player Model

Why am I even making a tutorial like this?

To those who don’t know the Female model is an unused model that can be found in the files of Ricochet. 
 
It is unknown as to why this model doesn’t appear in the game but it is widely believed that the reason why this model goes unused is because the developers forgot to add the "Model Selector" settings tab that can be found in many other GoldSrc games such as Half-Life. 
 
 
 

Selecting the Female Player Model

1. Press the "~" button on your keyboard to enable the Developer Console. 
 
2. Type "model female" in the Developer Console text box. 
 
 
 

Testing to see if you have the model equipped

Go into a server and fall in the void, you should see that your model has changed into the woman model. 
 
 
If your player model didn’t change, exit Ricochet and repeat steps 1 and 2 before joining another server. 
 
This isn’t a very good tutorial as there aren’t many steps involved so it felt really weird writing it. 
 
This might not work on every server. Only works on some servers such as APG Clan.
