Bookworm   Description: All Copies of "At The End Of The Plank" Found   Solution:   – In the Governor's Mansion.   – In the locksmith's.   – In the fish shop.   – In the Brrr Muda Queen’s throne area.   – Next to Herman’s "Bed” on Terror Island

 

Bragging   Description: Tell everyone on Melee Island that you are looking for the secret   Solution: Tell everyone you meet in part II that you are searching for The Secret of Monkey Island. Part IV will also allow you to tell the pirates at the fish shop.

 

Cartography Nerd   Description: We've thoroughly inspected all of Wally's stock   Solution: Talk to Wally about all maps and items in his shops. The globe, his cartography tools, and the medal at the top of the door are all included.

 

Dental Samaritan   Description: Gave Stan his Toothbrush   Solution: After the earthquake in Part IV, return to Melee Island and grab the toothbrush from Stan's Shipyard. You can find Stan in prison later, when you visit Brr Muda.

 

Fan Service   Description: Convinced Cobb to Tell You About LOOM   Solution: Talk to Cobb in the Scumm Bar (the guy with the) Loom badge). Ask Cobb about LOOM until he answers.

 

Flag Facsimile   Description: Performed the Ole Switcheroo with The Replica Flag   Restriction: Only possible in advanced mode   Solution: Replace the quarantined pirate flag with one from the museum's replicas of the ship.

 

Free Wally   Description: Monkey Island Rescues Wally   Solution: When you board LeChuck's ship, you will need to write the lock number chapter 2. It is located on the deck to the left, near the empty potion bottles. The monocle can be used to read the serial number. Don't forget to turn the key. Although you might have a chance to do it later, once the cuffs are gone (Wally was abducted), the lock number is no longer available.

 

Hey Wait   Description: Freed Otis   Solution: Use the monocle of Wally to read out the serial number in the lock. Get a key to unlock the prison and get your Otis free of charge.

 

Lucky Duck   Description: Share Your Luck   Solution: Once you have found the lucky clover give it to the duck in

 

Neat Freak   Description: Every Mess on The First Swab's report   Solution: Document 8 messes. You can only add 5 items to the list. Save before you save. (is a save that must be reloaded. Many thanks to all contributors!)   – Potion remains on deck   – Empty potion ingredients boxes   – Kitchen (galley,), whole   – Ghost Rat next to LeChucks Cabin   – Grease on (the bullseye)   – Don't feed the wrong chicken in the cage. Patient Citizen   Description: I Waited Patiently to See Carla   Solution: Return to Melee Island and go to the Governor's House. There will be people waiting. Wait for 3 minutes and stand in line!

 

Pegleg   Description: Fulfill Your Restroom Obligations   Solution: Hang it back () The Key to the Toilet (The one with the wooden leg

 

Promise Keeper   Description: Was Gullet A Favorite?   Restriction: Only possible in advanced mode   Solution: Give Gullet’s poems to the museum guy.

 

Speed Runner   Description: Reached the End in 2 Hours or Less   Solution: Complete the game in less than 2 hours. Use the "" key to skip dialogues and run faster with double click. Double click to skip dialogues and make your run faster. Do not care about anything but the story.   If you are new to running, play the game once to get the hang of it and make notes. Or, use a walkthrough). Play the game again from beginning to end to complete it.

 

Super Swabbie   Description: Swabbed the Hold Twenty Times   Solution: In the first room of the ship, you should wipe the fat. It will be spilled again by your boss. You can keep spitting it 20 more times until you achieve the achievement.

 

Tight Ship   Description: Decked Out The Sea Monkey II with Spooky Skulls   Solution: Before you repair the ship to sail with Elaine go pick up the skulls in the theme song

 

Trophy Fisher   Description: Became a Prize Chum   Solution: Go to the fish shop. Ask for the (flag) advanced mode) goldfish. Follow the dialogue until you are able to "join" your chums.   The next step is to find people who have the fishing lure, talk to them, and then follow their "instructions".   These are the chums.   – Pirate near destroyed Scumm Bar   Brr Muda Prison Guard   – Apple Bob on LeChuck’s ship   – Elaine at Scurvy Island   – Locke Smith, High Street, Melee Island   After you have spoken to them and mastered the "talent", go back to the fish shop and claim your prize!

 
 
 

Hidden Achievements (10 –

Ahoy There   Description: Ahoy! More than Twenty Times   Solution: Recite the "Ahoy!" Answer: 21 times, repeat the "Ahoy!" dialogue with the quarantined pirates.

 

Cogg Island   Description: Found Cogg Island   Solution: The location of the solution is not fixed. It should be something like X.Y (like) map coordinates). After beating the game once, it's given via a trivia card (Page 9, Card 2.   Once you have the card, choose the option with the coordinates.   Take your ship with you to this exact location   The island is underwater!   You can't leave the island once you arrive (save this page, if you find a way to get there, let me know)).   Use the anchor to dive all the way to the ground.   To achieve the achievement, visit every location (tab key or).

 

Dead Dead Dead   Description: Died For Real   Solution: After being thrown off a ship and submerged, switch between 2 screens until you die 3 times.

 

Deep Sea Diver   Description: Explored the entire ocean floor   Solution: Keep randomly diving from your ship into the ocean (with the ship anchor)(and pufferfish advanced mode), until you see every variant of the seafloor

 

Hot Headed   Description: Braved the Scorched Alaska   Solution: Eat the Scorched Alaska after the chef has made it. Guybrush will need to click it a few times!

 

I Don't Believe   Description: You've been returned to the world you know   Solution: In the final scene, instead of talking with Elaine, Stan's keys can be used to open the church alley door. Then, you can backtrack through the area and climb the stairs.

 

Mop Heist   Description: I Attempted to Steal The Cook's Mops   Solution: Grab the mop and leave the bar while the cook prepares the meal.

 

Mop Top   Description: Hired with all four mop heads   Solution: Iron Rose will hire you at the end of Part 2 with every mop head (. You will need to reload a savegame).   – A Voodoo Head (International House of Mojo   – Sponge (, from Stan's shipyard)   – Pile Of Rope (, from the kitchen next to the wooden seagull)   – Stuffed Dog (at governor's house)

 

On The Lam   Description: Let The Lumpsucker Get Away   Solution: Continue to re-enter your fish shop until the Lumpsucker crawls to the door (. You will need to do this many times).

 

Relief Pitcher   Description: Donate to the Earthquake Relief   Solution: After asking about the earthquake (, Part IV), you can give Carla money at the Melee mansion.

 
 
 

Trivia Card achievements (6 –

To find the trivia cards, search each section for small hidden items.
 
First, grab the trivia book. It is located in the scummbar on the table near the entrance.
 
Keep looking for the cards at every new location you visit.
 
These can be identified by pressing the tab key.
 
Collect them, then go to your inventory to answer them.
