You aren’t allowed to play on anything other than low. The game literally cannot function on higher qualities. 
 
 

Dodging the second CTD

 
If you press too many buttons after inspecting an item, or inspect an item too rapidly, you will get another CTD. Try avoid looking at items to avoid this crash. 
 
 

Avoiding the 3rd CTD

 
EDIT UPON COMMUNITY FEEDBACK 
 
for some systems, the second time travel is bugged, and will just CTD for no reason. If this happens, try checking to ensure your graphics drivers are compatible as the only currently working fix.
